                    '' Morning dad '' I greeted my dad the minute I walked in he's study and I could see his tired expression when he looked up at me ,I felt bad for ignoring for two days now '' my angel , how are you'' he questioned carefully like he's afraid I might get angry again as he stood from he's chair and walk towards me '' I'm fine dad ,I'm sorry for leaving like that without any explanation ''I have to tell him ,I don't hide anything from why now '' I found my mate at the alliance party on my birthday '' I said reading he's expression which was unreadable ''so someone is going to take my princess from me, well they have to go through me'' he said as he shifted to combat stance and kicking his fist in the air , after 2days of heartbreak and sadness I found myself laughing but stopped an continued '' I wish dad but he rejected me , so no need for a duel'' I continued as sadness laced my voice , I felt a pair of arms around me and I busted into tears '' he's a fool to reject you like that ,you are amazing and he would regret it and if I ever see him ,forget the duel I'll beat him to pulp for making you cry '' he said as he wiped away my tears and grabbed my hand walking us out of the study ''how about we have a father-daughter time like the good old days'' he said as he ruffled my hair , jolting me out of my sadness and I felt calm '' sure, but I get to choose what we do'' I said smiling and he mirrored my expression as he lifted my hands up '' I think I know what you want '' he said with a slight smile '' fight it out'' he continued and I smiled , he's busy but never forgot what I like doing, which is showing off my fighting techniques '' how about I meet with Joey for a duel and you be the commentator'' he gave a slight nod as we walked out of the house and into my dad's car and he drove us the pack house, it's mostly a place where they train in both human and wolf form and when I was 6 I went there and saw them fighting ,it was so cool and I wanted to join even though my dad was afraid I'll hurt myself as a little cub , he let me , shortly after we arrived and I jumped out the car immediately I saw the delta of our pack Joey, he is my best friend and also like a brother to me and ran to hug him ,he immediately engulfed me with his arms ''geez Audrey careful '' my dad shouted and I just chuckled ,and a felt a familiar presence behind him '' good morning alpha Xavier , never thought you'll come today '' Joey said he's arms still wrapped around me and it hit me 'MATE' I turned my neck so quick that I'm afraid it would come off and there I saw the man who rejected me , he looks really hot in his Nike tracksuit ,he stared down at me with piercing gaze that almost claimed my heart , but I'm really good at covering emotions unless when necessary , I turned my head back towards my best friend and pulled he's arm as we walked off before Xavier could reply him '' how about we race to the field ,last one there is a rotten egg'' Joey said smiling mischeiviously and took off without warning and I immediately run after him ,and in less than 10 seconds we were on a tide, I could feel eyes on us, especially, I added more energy to my speed and run past competitor the field is so large a normal per may tie out on a 200m race and before I knew it ,we were already on the training ground , perfect, I stopped and almost immediately Joey stumbled on my body and we ended up on the ground ,with him on top of me, and I swear I heard a deep growl '' get off her'' I heard a voice which made my heart flutter a little , and before I knew it Joey was pulled away from me while I catch my breath and then my eyes met with his.....
