                         As if coming to he's senses he immediately dropped Joey on the ground , and everyone including my dad wondered why he reacted that way for a girl who wasn't in his pack, only I knew why, he denied me and yet he still cares , a sneaky smirk appeared on my face , oh this will be interesting , I'll let him know he can't mess with Audrey I stood up from the ground and assisted Joey up '' what was that all about '' he questioned as if trying to guess what just happen '' beats me, maybe he's a holy one and thinks our position is immoral'' I said loud enough for Xavier to here which I guess he did ,he halted on his steps for a minute and walked off to wear my dad and our pack alpha is , few people who heard me nodded their head in agreement to what I said and Joey chuckled and continued ''that makes sense, now it's time for me to kick your ass '' I snarled at him '' says the guy who just got his ass kicked'' saying that I immediately threw my fist which landed at his face , he didn't see that one coming ,we kept on fighting ,and then he caught my arms a threw me backwards which made me summersault with my face flat on the ground, that sure hurt as hell, I heard a growl already knowing who it was , I won't let him see me as a weakling , I got up and kicked Joey so hard on his ribs ,werewolves heal 60% than humans but that will sure take him a day and half, I lunged on him, pushing us boat to the ground and he immediately turned away from me shifting into his wolf and tried lunging at me which I dodged easily because I already gave him a severe injury on his ribs , he could only limp , he tried launching at me but all of a sudden someone pulled him away from me, it was Xavier and he looked like he was ready to kill , I don't think I'm the only one who noticed the dark aura surrounding him and he spoke with a low voice that only the three of us could hear '' how dare you shift in front of my Luna '' he growled as he's hand tightened around Joey's wolf , I immediately rushed toward him and pushed him away '' don't you dare touch my friend like that again , who do you think you are'' I shouted at him angrily although it's a crime to shift in front of an higher rank like the king ,queen ,the alpha and Luna it shows disrespect and threat but Joey is my childhood friend and he already rejected me ,so why does he care ''go change ok '' I said talking my best friend who is currently whining in pain as I pet his fur close to he's ear , he growled in response and fled off '' you have no right to talk me like that '' he continued getting pissed , I ignored him and walk towards my dad who was running towards me ,with shock plastered on he's face '' why does he keep acting like that towards you '' I shook my head '' let's go home well talk about it, it's not convenient and I also owe Joey an apology and I don't want things to get worst'' I told my dad as I pulled him by his sleeve ,ignoring the eyes on us ''hey, Audrey right?'' I heard a voice behind me and turned to see Lucas walking towards me ''uhmm ,hey it's nice to see you again , are you from this pack ,how come I've never recognized you'' I asked looking at him waiting for an answer and its true because know every single person in this pack we are only a population of 1026 ,and I can tell through the face and pack connection '' I'm with alpha Xavier pack NIGHT RAID '' oh boy , not another one '' well I'm going home bye'' I really don't wanna see another part of him anywhere, I got to my dad's car as he drove us and on the way I explained everything to him ,he almost killed us out of shock when I told him Xavier was my mate he was both in shock and angry because he rejected me......

The next morning I was busy preparing an apology cupcake although it wasn't my fault but my mate treated him that way because of me, when I heard the door bell echo , I washed of my floor stained hands and took off my apron , no one is at home and my dad left with the alpha for a meeting so who could that be , I thought as I opened the door and met two pair of faces I knew very well, oh brother, I'm not in the mood to talk right now, I was about to shut and a foot stopped the door from closing , great '' what do you want ''..........
