CHAPTER 10

          What Is trying to pull by fighting with me , she was able to take two people down in seconds , although I'm stronger how would I be able to fight against her with a smile that says mockery, she's trying to humiliate me ,but why, I can't loose face , if I can't fight her I won't be man enough to ask her out  " okay if that's what you want " I said although not too sure of myself I'll have to give it my all  " Good not here tho , 4pm in the woods ,how about that" she said her face close enough to mine that I could see every little hair on her face and het glossy pink lips damn I'm a man after all and I can't help but feel tightened in my pants , I shrugged off my thoughts and tried to remain cool and smiled "okay " i said and she smirked pecking my cheeks and walked off , for some strange reason I felt inferior next to her even tho I'm a beta, at that moment she felt like my Luna whom i had respect but that's impossible because Xavier had no mate , we all sat down at the bench and watch night raid and blood moon fight against each other , it was cool and exciting, I wish Xavier was here to watch most especially Audrey beating off our pack asses as embarrassing as it is to us , she's really good one have to admit it.....

        It was 3:55 pm when I walked into the woods keeping my guard up for any rouge attack "why did she choose this place for a fight" I asked no one in particular " that's because we're not fighting but I have a lotta question to ask " i heard a voice behind me really close to my ears which startled me because abroad ended up on the floor , how didn't I hear her approaching even with the dry leaves on the floor anyone stepping on it could be heard unless you decided to climb a tree which is not possible because all the branches in the woods are way high for one to reach no matter how good of a climber you are " what questions" I asked feeling unsafe for a strange reason  " what Happened 4 years ago" she asked and I my ghost left me ,I thought she forgot already ,'while is she asking' , I thought as I stared at her " how many woman has your alpha slept with , if u don't answer I'm gonna keep punching you till you do" immediately she said that she punched me in the ribs, oww that hurts,what is she made of, iron? " I don't know what you're talking...." Before I could finish she punched my face, how did I end up crushing on her i immediately rushed towards her and pushed her to the floor with me on top of her and roughly kissed her on the lips ,I felt her struggle for a bit and stopped and stared at her , she's beautiful 'I wish she was mate' but then I heard something flew in our direction which I caught with ease it was an arrow , although it was directed to Audrey but not me , why....before I could process more kept coming and Audrey pushed me off immediately dodging the arrows as she ran towards it trying to know where it's coming from , 10 more flew to where she was , it's more like a threat" shift Audrey forget about it , let's head to the pack " I yelled as I shifted and she did so listening to me which I was grateful for we ran off with her dodging d arrows as much as she could Although one landed on her leg she howled but kept on running till it faded and we were at the pack , everyone noticed the wound on her wolf's thigh and immediately recognized her as Audrey but she headed straight to the pack house ignoring them and got to a room which the delta , beta ,alpha and Luna is allowed to enter and since nobody was in she was safe , I head to the closet where I kept my joggers and t-shirt because I was in my battle outfit  before we left and I shifted into it, grabbed a spare hoodie big enough and went back to Audrey who was still in her wolf form lying with pain, and that's when I noticed the two arrows stuck on her leg and ribs her wolf's was huge close to mine which was weird seeing she was a girl and a teenager ,unless you're a Luna which I doubt Audrey is considering she doesn't have a mate yet " Audrey shift into this " I said lending her the hoodie and went out and waiting for her ,she came out with the hoodie stopped halfway her thighs, her milky fresh skin stood out , I almost felt like jumping on her , although her wounds were healing as a werewolf , but the mark is very visible which is strange because it should have disappeared I noticed she was holding the two arrows in her hands, and they seem oddly familiar " can I investigate on one of those" I asked and she gave one to me without talking or any form of expression,she seems quite but I can tell she's really pissed" the reason why I asked about 4 years ago back in woods, was because my mate rejected me "she said as she walked away limping ,heading back home I guess , leaving me in shock she has a mate already I thought as I cried internally , why her ,I noticed the looks unmated guys were giving her as she wasn't marked yet and I scowled at them, thinking I was her mate they left, I wish I was though but the arrow on my hand brought me back to reality as I stared it, this arrow seems pretty  familiar to that of our pack but it's patterns are very different , why do I feel a sense of deja Vu, maybe Xavier would know about it, I decided to go back to my pack but not before informing our warriors to go back with me , as we will come the next day although I wasn't their alpha but since I was he's best friend and was speaking for him they nodded and we all went back to our pack , although I was still bothered by the thought she already has a mate, I sighed again for the up tenth time today , a lotta bullshit sure did happen today......
