He got up from the bed and started to look around in the room. He went out of the bedroom and realised that he's at Monami's place. He started to look for her and found her near the main door.
She was standing there with wet hair while trying to dry her hair with a towel. He was mesmerized to see her like that and was just staring at her intensely but she sensed someone around her so, she said...
Monami (Smilingly) - To tum aakhir uth hi gaye...!!! Ab kaisa lag raha hai tumhe? Agar hangover feel ho raha ho to maine just abhi coffee banayi hai. Please, have it.
Karan (Holding his forehead tightly) - Haa, bahot hi zyada sar dukh raha hai mera... (Taking the coffee mug from the kitchen) I'm sorry, Monami. Mujhe nahi pata ke main yaha kaise aa gya. Kal kuch hua tha aur main kafi upset bhi tha... (Hesitantly) Main usually drink nahi karta but kal jo hua...

Karan just smiled with a sarcastic humour in it. He was comparing his father and Monami in this matter and they both seemed way too much different to him.

After a while, when they were sitting near the main gate, in the mini garden of hers... they heard some whispering sound. At first, Karan ignored it but when he saw Monami getting uncomfortable, he started to look around to find out the cause of that.
In a little while, he understood the whole matter. He was so angry after listening that kind of rubbish regarding her character that he couldn't stop himself from defending her...
Karan (To the people around) - Jo bolna chahte ho, muh pe bolo. Ya bolne ki himmat nahi hai.
One of the women (Making a face) - Are to kya galat bola humne? Pehle to sirf ek ladka aata tha aur ab to dusra bhi aa gya.
Another Woman (To Monami) - Are ye to apne andhepan ka aise hi fayda uthati hogi.
A guy (To Monami) - Are hume hi bol diya hota to hum tumhe company dene aa jaate, baharwalo ko nahi dhoondhna padta tumhe.
Listening all this, Karan was getting way too much angry and Monami just closed her eyes tightly out of humiliation. She couldn't able to say anything so, before anyone could say anything, someone spoke inbetween...
Someone (Putting a hand around that guys shoulder) - Are kal vo teen ladkiyan tumhare sath thi na...??? Kya naam tha unka?... (Turning towards others) Are vo chhodo, pata hai kon thi vo...??? Vo teeno Prostitutes thi aur iske paise kharchvane aayi thi.

(To the other woman) Vaise aapki beti to dekh bhi sakti thi na, to ek ladke ke chakkar me padke... apne gharwalo ka muh kaala karke kyu bhag gayi?
Monami (With tears) - Sid, Bas kar ab. Ye mere padosi hai...!!!
Sid (In anger) - Nahi, Monu Bro...!!! Bas inhe kar dena chahiye. In jaise logo ko bas kisiki kamzori dikhni chahiye aur ye use aur khuredne, nochne ki puri koshish karege.

Ek baat batayiye... Kaisa laga aapko, jab maine aapko aayna dikhakar aapki asli shakal dikhayi to? Batsurati kaisi lagi aapko apni?
No one said anything and just left from there after listening this much from him. He went near Monami and Karan. Karan asked...
Karan (To Monami) - Tum thik ho na?
Monami just nodded her head while wiping her tears. She said...
Monami (In a little broken voice) - Thank you, Sid. Agar tu nahi hota to...
Sid (Cutting her in the middle) - Thappad khayegi tu... (Smilingly cupping her face) Aur ab to mujhe puchhega kon...!!! Tujhe tera 'Boyfriend' jo mil gya...!!!
Karan (Confusingly) - Kya matlab?
Monami (While hitting Sid on his forearm) - Kuch nahi, Karan. Ise bas bakwaas karne bol do aur ye janaab shuru ho jaate hai... (To both the boys) Chalo dono andar. Breakfast kar lete hai.
