"A few more minutes," Lola whispered when I tried to get out of bed. "Baby, the jet is about to land," I laughed, turning around and see her holding our camera. "Hey, baby," she smiled. I leaned over to her and kissed her cheek.
"Hey, beautiful," I greeted then rubbed her stomach. "Big day today," she hummed then lifted her camera up to be on her. I got between her legs and laid down on her breast. She ran her fingers through my hair while talking about our 'trip' to Dubai.
I was slowly falling asleep again until the annoyance of my life spoke. "Get y'all asses up! We're in Dubai!" Jordan shouted, making me groan and lift my head up. Lola smiled at me and rubbed my cheek.
I leaned down and pecked her lips. "Uh-uh," she mumbled then pulled me down into a slow kiss. "You ready?" She whispered against my lips. I took a deep breath and looked her in her eyes. "With you, I will always be ready, but I'm still nervous," I whispered.
She nodded her head then gave me one more kiss before moving me off of her. "I am too. But we got this," she assured. "How about we go over everything again when we make it to our hotel?" I suggested, catching her perfect smile.
"And a smoke?" She asked, making me smile wider.
With that being said, we got out the bed and got dressed into something comfortable. "This is crazy, man," Jordan mumbled while recording everything. "Council, your ride is waiting for you," one of our men in suits said while the jet lands.
"Thank you," Lola replied. "Can you get out bags for us?" I asked him, watching him quickly bow his head. "Of course," he rushed then stumbled to get our things.
I grabbed Lola's hand and got off the jet with her. "Wow," Meisha whispered to herself.
We all got into the car, dealing with Jordan's shenanigans already. I glanced over to Lola, seeing her holding the binder with the information of each couple we will be meeting today.
I placed my hand on it, causing her to look up at me. "We got it," I whispered. "I know," she smiled before placing her hand on my thigh and looked out the window.
When we made it to the mansion we will be staying in, we were immediately shown our room. "I would like to say it's a pleasure to finally meet you both, Council. I've heard that blood supply was filled as soon as you both had the ceremony," the young vampire rant while opening a door.
Me and Lola let her rant, seeing how happy and nervous she is. "It is true, little one," Lola gushed then tapped the top of her head. She blushed and walked inside the room. "This will be your room, the best of the best," she breathed then called for our men in suits to bring our bags in.
"What is your name, little one?" I asked, earning a little blush. "I'm ninety-three," she whined then folded her arms. "My name is Tamera, Council," she answered me. "I was turned when I was sixteen. I just have a baby face," she grumbled.
Lola tilted her head up and gave her that million-dollar smile. "And you have a cute baby face. Mind telling us who our chef is?" She asked, causing Tamera to look away and smile. "Bobby is waiting for your request right now, Council," she answered.
"Great, can you tell him that me and my wife would like steak drizzled and cooked in o-negative blood then ask Jordan and Meisha, the other couple, what they would like. They are human so don't eat them, yeah?" Lola asked while looking at me for confirmation.
I nodded my head and grabbed the binder. "Yes, right away, council," she giggled then looked at the both of us to dismiss her. "Go ahead, sweetheart," I snickered.
She bowed and left out the room. "She's adorable," Lola commented. "I agree," I hummed then sat on the bed. "Alright, the first couple we will be looking at is from South Korea. Song Kang-ho and Ha Ji-won," I started, hearing Lola immediately gasp.
"Yes, yes. They are famous actors in South Korea," she quickly mumbled. "Very sweet and to themselves but will do what they need to do to provide for their colony," she rambled, making me smile and nod my head.
"We need to worry about the Avildsen couple. From Britain," I frowned. She let out a long sigh and stood between my legs. "No matter how judgmental and arrogant they are, we are doing what is best for our vampires," she whispered then pecked my lips. "I know and we-" I started, but I tilted my head up and caught that familiar sent.
"Tamera, is rude to eavesdrop," I hummed, causing Lola to turn around and tilt her head to the side.
I scoot back and pulled Lola between my legs. "Sorry, Council," she coughed then came in with her head bowed. "Lunch will be plated in five minutes," she informed us then glanced up at us. "Come here," Lola softly voiced as I wrapped my arms around her waist and took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry for listening on your conversation, but you both sounded worried about this meeting. Do you think that they will try to take over? I heard that the Avildsen colony can be cruel," she rambled.
I frowned and held Lola tighter. "Of course not. There will be war before we allow them to take over. Now, get Jordan and Meisha for lunch," I informed her. She nodded and bowed her head.
Lola turned around and straddled my lap. "You think you should have told her about a possible war?" She asked, wrapping her arms around my neck. "Probably not, but it does shows that we will never give up on our people," I sigh, rubbing her sides soothingly.
She leaned close to me and rubbed the back of my neck. "You think so?" She asked in a whisper. "Of course," I trailed off then pecked her lips.
"Yo, food is ready. They make everything here," Jordan laughed. Lola leaned back and rested her head on top of mine. "Jordan," she huffed, getting off of me and held her hand out.
I got out the bed and smiled as she wrapped her arm around my waist. He raised his hands then left out. "I might end up biting him one of these days," she huffed, turning her head towards me.
I flashed my fangs at her and winked. I visibly saw her gulp and lean in towards me. "You don't want our lunch to get cold, do you?" I asked, leaning back.
She let out a huff and grabbed my hand. She pulled me downstairs and sat me down at the table. "Lola," I laughed, but she folded her arms and glanced at me. "I will have a talk with you after the meeting tonight," she said then looked over my body with that evil ass look.
"Wine, Council?" I heard, making me look up and see a buff man holding a bottle of wine. "Yes, please," I snickered, ignoring the way Lola is rubbing my thigh.
