"Monty!" Jasper said before crashing right into his best friend. They both ended up on the floor, rubbing their heads.
"What was so important that you had to almost give me a concussion?" Monty replied with a chuckle, still rubbing his head.
"Madeline." And with that one beautiful name, Monty snapped his head towards Jasper and looking at him with wide, expectant eyes.
"She-she k-kissed." Jasper said, suddenly losing his breath, whilst pointing to his cheek where it had been touched by Madeline's beautiful lips only moments before.
Monty gave his friend a shocked impression, which quickly turned into pure joy.
"Good job man!" Monty said with a grin while patting Jasper on the back.

As soon as everyone awoke, they continued their trek. They ended up walking to a stop. There was one thing between them and their trek. A river. There was a rope so Finn decided everyone should swing to the other side. Finn was going to go first, but Jasper turned to look at Madeline, then volunteered.
As he swung through the air all thoughts and worries about Madeline seemed behind him. Jasper jumped through the air. He seemed to be prepared for falling into the river and drowning. But that never happened. Jasper may have had a rough landing, but he landed.
Everyone cheered him on as he rose from his crash. He was the center of attention. This was a new feeling for Jasper. Back on the Ark, he was more of a wallflower. He got some attention, but not the positive kind.
Jasper's eyes then landed on a sign. Mount Weather, it read. Jasper then carried it over his head to show the others. Everyone was too busy in celebration to look at the trees. That was until a spear came flying out of one, striking Jasper directly in the chest. In that moment, Madeline's life flashed before her eyes. It had almost seemed like the spear hit her in the chest.
"Jasper!" Madeline heard Clarke scream. Although she couldn't seem to function. Her mouth opened but no sound seemed to be coming out. It felt like her heart had been ripped out and crumbled into sand. ( Once Upon A Time ayye ) She just stood there. Tears streaming down her face. Madeline did nothing to protest as she was dragged away from her dying first love. She was alone.
