Chapter 01- The execution.

     The plan was simple.

They had deliberated for a couple of days. Each day that passed where they contemplated whether or not to send those two off was just another day where their frustrations grew.

Billy and Steve did not like each other.

Everyone else had managed to move past the turmoil, was able to forgive(not forget), and start anew.

Except Steve and Billy.

Each time the group met up for something, if one figured the other would be there, they'd cancel. Or if they were unable to cancel, they'd just give each other dirty looks the entire time.

Of course, a couple of dirty looks and mumbled curses weren't as bad as the literal physical altercations that used to break out in the beginning, but they were getting to be too much.

So the groups decided. They would make Steve and Billy be at least decent with each other.

"I don't get how the tension doesn't suffocate them.." Will mumbled from the back of Jonathan's car, picking at the hem of his shorts. Jonathan hummed in agreement, "soon enough they'll get along, I bet."

"Well they better! Because I'm sick and tired of being the mediator between those two! they act like children!" Dustin piped up from beside Will, making the boy laugh silently.

They were on their way to Steve's house. Their plan wasn't the best. All they could do was hope that it would work.

"It's going to work!" Robin said as if reading all of their minds, "I mean Nance and Max and Ed and Mike they got Billy, and they're gonna take him and it's going to work because I mean, I can't take this much longer! so it has to work! it will!"

The car was silent after her outburst, and nobody had a chance to comment further as they pulled up in front of steve's house. Noticing his beat up car pulled up in the front.

"Okay, everybody, follow the plan."

——

Steve put the towel down on the sink as he heard two strong knocks on the front door.

Walking out of the bathroom, he checked the clock on his nightstand— it's a little too late for visitors, he thought.

And then a couple more hurried and desperate knocks at the door, "Steve! Open the damn door, Steve!" Dustin's voice, muffled by their distance.

At that, he rushed down the stairs and to the front door. He swung it open, a look of confusion on his face as he noticed the combination of people at the door.

"Steve, shit man, what took you so long!" Dusting complained, his voice whiny as Steve glared at his choice of language.

"What's wrong ? why are all of you here like this?"

"We need your help, something bad happened..." Jonathan explained, his face dead serious.

To Steve, Jonathan looked terrified and Robin looked suspicious as she hung out in the back without saying a word.
