Tyler had cried himself to sleep, he had convinced himself that it was all a dream. He was awoken when he heard the clock strike one. He looked around and couldn't see anything and was relieved that it was just a dream. Suddenly, a bright light shone and a woman appeared. The woman had beautiful blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
"I am the ghost of Christmas past" she said
"Oh my god, it wasn't a dream!" Tyler said sleepily.
"Come with me" she said holding her hand out.
"I'm trying to sleep!" Tyler layed back down.
"I'll take you on a ride" she said smiling "To the past!" She grabbed Tyler's arm and they flew out the window.

They went back to when Tyler was a little boy.
"What do you think of Christmas Tyler?" She asked kindly
"I hate it, it's such a wast of time!" Tyler grumbled.
"That's not what I see!" She smiled. Tyler saw a childhood version of himself building a snowman with his brother and singing Christmas carols. When they had finished, little Tyler thew a snowball at Zack "Hey!" Zack said giggling.
"Tag, your it!" Said little Tyler, running around the garden "can't catch me!" He added. Zack caught up with him and tackled him to the ground, tickling him.
"Boys, come and help me decorate the tree before bed time?" Their mom called
"Yayy!" They squealed.

Adult Tyler watched in found memories "That was a long time ago" he said as he looked through the window to see him decorating the tree with his family.
"What changed?" The ghost asked
"Life" Tyler replied sadly
"Let's see" she said and they left.

Tyler looked into his house to see himself as a teenager, a beautiful woman in his arms as they danced.
"Do you remember her?" The ghost asked
"Remember her?... Yes" Tyler said sadly "Lucy."
"There was another Christmas with this young woman" the ghost Remind
"I don't want to see that!" Tyler snapped, but in a second they were there.
"I'm sorry that I shouted at you babe" Tyler sat next to her.
"You and Josh make loads of money with your music and going on tour, and you can't even buy me a Christmas present! I feel like you don't even care about me!" Lucy cried.
"I love you Luce" Tyler got down on one knee "will you marry me?"
"Of course I will!" She smiled happily and hugged him "can we go to town and I'll pick out a ring?"
"Emm..." Said Tyler
"You won't even buy me a ring!"
"I'll buy you one when I get married" he said calmly.
"We were good once but not anymore, goodbye Tyler" she kissed him and walked away. Now Tyler felt a lump in his throat as the ghost took his hand again.

Finally, they went to a year ago. Josh was there but he didn't look like Josh. It was the night before Christmas eve and doctors said that he would not make Christmas day. Tyler was there with his brother and perents, as well as Josh's family.
"Josh..." Now Tyler said
"Shh" said the ghost "he can't see or hear you, these are just Shadows from your past Tyler." They continued watching.
"Ty?" Josh said weakly
"Yes Josh?" Then Tyler said
"Can you sing for me please?" Tyler put his arm around Josh as now Tyler watched. Both Tyler's sang together. "We don't believe what's on TV because it's what we want to see." Soon both Tylers were in tears "I need to know that when I fell you'll still be here, cause if you stick around I'll sing you pretty sounds and we'll make money selling your heir. I don't care what's in your hair I just wanna know what's on your mind. I used to say I wanna d..d...die before I'm old but because of y...y...you I might think twice." Tyler broke down because Josh was gone. Now Tyler span round, tears falling down his face "why did you bring me here?!"
"I told you, these are the shadows of things that have been, they are what they are do not blame me!" She said casually.
"Go away!" Tyler said as he fell back on his bed.
