"Let's celebrate!" Mrs. Jones exclaimed as she helped me take out the cake, the sparkling cider, and the small champagne glasses.

"Baby, you did all this?" Mr. Jones asked before pulling me in for a quick kiss as I nodded.

"Thank you, my love," He whispered against my lips as I gripped onto his arms through his white button-up, leaning in and gently kissing my jaw, "We'll be leaving in about an hour, sweetpea." My heart melted at his words as Mrs. Jones sliced the cake while chatting with Wrynn about their plans for the summer. I began to pour the drinks as Mr. Jones settled into his sit next to Wrynn, as we all began to chat.

"So, six flags this year Wrynn?" I asked as Wrynn nodded quickly.

"Yes!! I love the big scary rides!! I'm super duper excited mamas!!" I smiled as Mr. Jones's eyes caught mine.

"Maybe mama can go to six flags with the three of us?" I shoot Mr. Jones a glare before I nodded.

"I'll go, but I'm not going on these big scary rides. I'll stay on the ground with grandma Dara." I passed out each glass of cider as I watched Wrynn's adorable eyes light up.

"YAYY!!!" Wrynn practically screamed as he jumped on her father, hugging him tightly.

"Did you hwear that!! Mama's going with us!!" Mr. Jones chuckled as he began to tickle Wrynn as she squirmed and squealed in Mr. Jones' lap.

We eventually ended up clinked our classes together and dug into the adorable cake I had bought. Making oddly specific plans about our now definite trip to six flags. Acting like the small family we truly had become, I don't know if I've been this happy in a while. From being surrounded by all of these lovely people, the school year coming to a successful close, and the man of my dreams finally a permanent factor in my life. The only thing that could be better was if my best friend was here, or maybe if he was as happy as I was.

"Baby, let's get going." Mr. Jones called out for me after we cleaned up our mini-party and we were all chilling on the couch. I nodded, sliding my shoes on and grabbing my tote bag again since it was already packed.

"Bye, everyone! We'll be back later!"

"Byee!!" Mrs. Jones and Wrynn yelled from the living room as we left through the front door, holding hands as we made our way down the front steps.

"So, where are you taking me, Jones?" I asked with curiosity, looking up into his eyes as he smirked.

"This spot I used to spend all my time at. I think you'll like it out there." Mr. Jones swiftly opened the passenger door as I hopped in with a huge smile, practically bouncing in my chair, full of glee. Mr. Jones circled around the car, getting in the driver's seat and revving up the engine.

"Baby, I love you." Mr. Jones claimed as he grabbed my hand squeezing softly as we took a bumpy, lengthy back-road to the location of our date.

"I love you too, AJ."

"I was thinking, maybe if everything goes well with us you could legally be one of Wrynn's caretakers? When she sees you she already feels like you're mother, I wouldn't mind making it official."

"I- AJ. I'd love that, thank you for trusting me with her baby."

"You deserve it, Sweetpea. After everything you've done for her, I think it's overdue." I smiled as I settled into my seat, holding onto his hand tightly as he slowly came up on a meadow filled with tall grasses and towns of tulips, daisies, sunflowers, and a few blooming, bright pink floras. Amid the big meadow there we're shortest grasses, a red and white checkered blanket with a willow-yielded picnic basket sitting at one edge, a stack of books on the opposing end.

"Baby! This is too sweet!" I practically jumped out of the car, running over and into the field as Mr. Jones took his time walking towards it, savoring my enthusiasm.

"Thank you, thank you thank you, thank you!" I squealed as he sat down, clinging onto his strong frame as his hands snaked around my waist.

"Anything for you. Anything."

I swiftly looked into the basket, finding croissants, waters, a small container of freshly-picked fruit, straight from the ranch, more sparkling cider, and a few perfectly packed sandwiches. I looked back at Mr. Jones as he smirked at me.

"Dig in, sweetpea." I grabbed the box of fruits, a croissant and the whole sparkling cider, popping it open and drinking from the bottle as Mr. Jones laughed, still holding my hand gently before I made my way back onto his lap as we both dug into the delicious lunch he packed for us. We chatted briefly as we ate, simply about how in love we we're. How much we had grown when we first meet, even bout how well the barns doing.

The sun cast on us perfectly as a short gust of wind caressed our skin to distract us from the never-ending summer heat. The birds chirping to each other peaceful. The tall lively Willow Trees surrounding the very outskirts of the fast meadow providing the slightest bit of shade, the long narrow leaf's filling each branch. His warm hand pressed against my cheek as he leaned in, his lips against mine.

"May I kiss you, Ms. Brennan?" I giggled and nodded at the foolish question, leaning in and kissing him purely out of love, both of our eyes closing. My heartbeat increased every time our lips meet, the butterflies in my stomach growing with each small touch and token of affection. My hands roamed his short hair as he pulled me closer, the blanket shifting with our small movements as the wind tried to fly us away. I don't think I've ever loved someone the way I love him.

His lips detached from mine as we both breathlessly panted for air, his lips parting for a brief moment as he calculated his next words. "I wanna do this right this time," Mr. Jones said with a smile as his eyes searched my own.

"In that case, Mr. Jones, will you be my boyfriend?" I asked the spark between us growing with each raspy breath as his grip on my waist tightened pulling me forward.

"Yes, I'd love to be your boyfriend, Ms. Brennan."

"Good-boyyy!" I teased as he shot me a glare before his big arms swallowed me whole, allowing me to lay on his chest as we looked up at the clouds, pointing out the shapes the floating cotton candy created, time running past us as I lost myself in the beautiful scenery, with the beautiful man that's mine.

I could've stayed in that moment forever, the serenity of being with the man I loved most in this world, the man who gave me a family and a sense of who I was, who I wanted to be, the man that made me feel whole.

Mr. Jones, was finally, solely mine.
