Gradient hadn't even heard the door open. Maybe it was open...?

BAM!

She quickly turned around to see a now closed door. Well someone definitely opened it, how had Gradient not heard it? Maybe Crescent or the queen heard it. But it didn't really matter she turned back to the queen.

"Okay, listen up..."

✩•̩̩*˚ Crescent ˚*•̩̩͙✩

"Okay, listen up, we're running out of time I don't want any interruptions to happen" Crescent's mother quickly stated, he accommodated himself to sit more comfortably. "Firstly off, you will be writing down what happened while you were kidnapped, you better write every single detail you remember and definitely the most important ones. I will stay here but if I am required to leave I will put someone else incharge...
You will have around an hour, after that we will take the papers, during the writing process we will give you more paper if you need. But after the time is done we will take the papers from you and read over them.
Small, miniscule and unimportant details and differences will be ignored. But if we see something that is highly different in your papers or something that seems important while you write. We will not accept this and question both of you.
I'll answer some of your questions..."

Crescent looked over to Gradient. She looked up at the queen with wide eyes. Then down at her paper, she frowned and then looked over to the ink bottles and feathers. She then proceeded to look at Crescent, he gave her a small insecure, yet reassuring smile. And finally Gradient looked back up at the queen. She looked down at her, looking extremely powerful. Yet, the queen... his mother did not mean to hurt nor scare them in the way that she didn't like them. She, his mother, just wanted answers. And could be quite demanding about them.

Breathing in and out, he looked down tiredly. Staring at the papers.

"Your majesty... there were moments where one was asleep or still knocked and the other was... well awake or semi-awake" Gradient mumbled.

"Then make sure to say that while you might have been awake, the other didn't seem to be awake" The queen quickly stated. "Then, when we read the other paper we will know if the other was awake or not, and if they were faking it"

"May we start now, mother?" Crescent asked.

"If there are no more questions, then go ahead" Queen Killer stated.

Both Crescent and Gradient reached out of the feathers on the ink tar. Then both fumbled above the paper. Gradient seemed to quickly make up her mind and then proceed to start quickly scribbling down what she remembered. Crescent didn't know where to start though.

Should he start where June and Queen Killer found them to then all of them get attacked. Or should he start when he first got up... Maybe it was best to start from the beginning of everything.

He started writing down how after they had been caught he remembered both Gradient and himself being tied up. Doing his best to avoid mentioning why they even left the castle so late at night. Crescent's mind was blank. As if he had forgotten everything that had happened. He had been pretty tired... well more like exhausted and badly hurt. So of course things would probably be hard to remember.

But strangely enough, it had only happened a few hours ago. Around two days ago. He should be able to remember a lot more than he did now. And somehow Gradient remembered more.

Still he wrote. Scribbling down every blurry memory, explaining with great detail about everything he forgot. He feared that he wouldn't write something similar to Gradient. He feared that his mother would become furious with him. That he had written the wrong things, or that he had made them up.
