Staring at himself so intensely. He had to do this. This could save both Gradient and himself from any trouble. If they wrote something different and Crescent knew it would make his mother or father suspicious. Then he had to get rid of those papers. And quickly go over what both Gradient and Crescent had written.

The following day of course, that way then. When they had to rewrite everything they would be able to do is more similar. And therefore increasing the chances that they get out of trouble. And by exchanging information they'll also be able to put more reliable information. Because they will be able to hear another perspective of what happened to them.

Crescent smiled, once again he stared himself at the mirror. Confidence and pride rose inside of him. He was ready, and there was no going back.

He slowly walked through the hallway. Maybe he should have done this the next day. First, he should have gotten as much information as possible. But Crescent was already outside his room. And there was no going back. His sister would probably catch him if he went back inside. So for now, it was better to stay away from his current bedroom.

Looking around he noticed a light coming from the stairs, so as slowly and silently as he could, he walked over to them. Slowly leaning around the corner of the stairs to stare down at the source of the light. It came from the first floor.

Breathing and out, Crescent collected himself and walked down the stairs. Voices started becoming louder. He frowned, what were these people doing? Why were they awake?

Luckily the door was open, so Crescent peaked around it. There he could hear loud and clear what the adults were talking about.

"... They will soon find out we're here, we must find a way to keep the kids safe and fight them back. We're clearly outnumbered, we need a proper plan to defeat them" someone stated, their voice was one Crescent couldn't recognize.

He did his best to peek without being caught. They had long brown hair, their eyes were dark amber. Their dress was cyan, yet it wasn't that long. And it seemed that underneath the dress they were wearing pants. A sheath was wrapped around her waist, it held a sword.

"That's going to be hard, we should call over more guards! All those pesky princesses and princes have already left, there is no one left to protect back in the castle! And Grey won't care about servants!" Another person snapped. Crescent couldn't see them properly.

As much as he wanted to peek at who had talked, this person was harder to see. They were further off to the right, closer to the wall. Crescent frowned, trying to find those he knew.

He recognized a few of those who were in this... so-called secret meeting. Of course, his parents. King Nightmare and Queen Killer, rulers of the Amaris Kingdom. Queen Lust, the wife of King Horror, ruled over the now-called Betelgeuse Kingdom. Queen Blue was nowhere to be seen. Probably already heading back to her kingdom.

When Periwinkle was probably on the way back, Queen Blue must have decided to join her. Heading back to their kingdom. Crescent hoped they were safe and that nothing had interrupted them in their journey.

"We'll probably be able to get a few leads thanks to what Crescent and Gradient wrote, we can have another meeting tomorrow. Let's list all the problems and possible solutions for now" his father finally spoke up, Crescent stared at him.
