He was going to fail! This was all for nothing, he couldn't believe it. His hopes started dying, until finally.

A paper, with a different and definitely more beautiful handwriting was in his hands. He smiled, being able to finally breathe in and out in relaxation. He found it, everything was going to be fine.

Suddenly the door slammed open.

"I'll get her majesty" June quickly said and sprinted over to where Killer currently was. She was in the other room, checking around.

Queen Killer quickly turned around, staring angrily around. She glared at June as she entered the room.

"Your majesty, someone was in your room"

Slowly, she walked over to the door. Opening it gently, light flashes in. It was horrible, yet it was oddly warm and beautiful too. Closing and opening her eyes she turned around and tightly closed the doors to her temple. No smoke would get inside that way. She had to keep the tree safe, even if it meant sacrificing herself again.

Gradient slowly woke up, a sound came from her. She couldn't recognize which one. But she couldn't care less. There were sounds coming from outside. Probably the adults changing on who was guarding or something. As she was getting up and out of the bed, the door slammed open. She flinched and fell to the ground.

Two adults, King Nightmare and another woman. She was probably the healer because she brought a strange big wooden box.

Looking around, she noticed the bathroom door open. Crescent came out. He looked just as startled. Blinked rapidly and immediately demanded questions. StarDust was also looking around but was still semi-asleep. Miyako just put a pillow on top of her head, as if that would help avoid any commotion.

But it was demanded of all of them to change and come down. Breakfast was already being prepared. Gradient wondered what time it was. And as she looked out the window, there was a barely noticeable, lighter line of light blue. Slowly spreading. She frowned and went to change after Crescent had gone back in to change.

Then there was StarDust, and then Miyako. Gradient decided to wear the dress Miyako had gifted her. The one that seemed like it was going to be for someone special. But it never arrived to that person. She rolled her eyes, that's how siblings were. And Crescent didn't want it back. Gradient couldn't blame him.

As soon as they all finished changing they were escorted downstairs. But as soon as they walked outside the room, everything changed. Everyone, or at least almost everyone seemed to be inside the house. Gradient was able to get a glimpse of the King and Queens room, papers were scattered everywhere.

And even if her curiosity screamed at her to stop and stay there to watch and learn what was going on. She continued walking. She wanted to stay out of trouble. Even if she wondered what had just happened. Frowning over to Crescent, he glanced at the room but quickly picked up his space.

That gave it away, now Gradient knew what might have happened. Crescent had tried to find something. He got away, probably failing to retrieve what he wanted. But it seems that he also left a mess. A very obvious mess. Because everyone was freaking out and trying to find the source of what had happened.
