He immediately froze. And quickly exited. Gradient had just been turning around. He acted before thinking and ran away. Heading towards his room. He didn't care if he wasn't being the most silent runner right then. He just didn't want to get caught. And luckily he wasn't.

As soon as he was inside his bedroom he locked himself inside it. His tentacles were still summoned just in case he had to force someone out of his room. He hoped that no one was going to annoy him or reach out for him.

Strangely that day... no one did. They left him alone and let him do whatever he wished to do.

Gradient plopped down on her bed, she was tired. Her eyelids felt heavy, her head was for some reason pounding. She breathed in and out in annoyance. She just wanted to have a relaxing day. Just a simple discussion with Crescent and done! They wouldn't annoy each other for the rest of the day unless it was necessary.

But everything had to go wrong. Her brother had to find out, Miyako and StarCross also ended up finding out.

She sighed in annoyance. Could this day get any worse? Slowly her thoughts strayed away. Slowly drowning her in an endless loop of zoning out. Luckily though... something else distracted her. Waking her up into reality once again. She blinked a few times in confusion.

Looking up at her window. A small red with black bird stood there, staring at her from the window. Gradient looked back nervously at her open door. It's just a bird, why would anyone care? But she got such an uneasy feeling. She got up and walked over to the window. Slowly opening it.

Quickly the bird flew behind her. It didn't even touch the ground before starting to deform in mid-air. Slowly the bird started shining brighter and soon the queen stood in front of her. A tight black fit around her body.

"Gosh, I haven't worn these clothes since I met Nightmare" Killer mumbled, she then proceeded to smile and look at Gradient. "Sorry for the interruption Princess Gradient, I just wanted to discuss something with you"

"You-your majesty!" Gradient yelped before bowing down, she was in shock... What was happening? "Don't worry, I wasn't doing anything important either way! What is it you need to discuss?" she questioned.

"Well, Miyako told me everything... I would have anything else slide off but this is quite serious" The queen mumbled "My son and you are putting your life at risk, at a problem that isn't even yours"

"Well, I just wanted to help... this is also kind of my chance to show that I can lead an army...?" Gradient said nervously "I'm not allowed to marry so..."

"Princess please hear me out" Gradient immediately became silent and stared at the queen. "This issue is for you to not worry about, it's an issue... the Claw's Clan has been for centuries around but... after my... a certain someone joined the clan he made everything worse.

"They started attacking us more frequently and more brutally, they used to avoid attacking the innocent. Now they attack everything and everyone on their path. They are a pest, and if it's not rid of quickly they will become more than a threat to this kingdom.

"Princess Gradient. Since it seems you can't become queen of this kingdom, and your generation, including your brother and my son, have not become allies... then please stay out of this trouble. This clan may possibly target your kingdom soon enough... and this is a problem being currently solved by the king and I. So there's nothing to worry about!.
