Dear stranger,

For my composition class, we're assigned to create a project that focuses on the people that are in our school and we will turn it in at the end of the semester. I chose to write letters to a stranger in one of my classes. Now these letters don't dictate a response, nor will you ever know that I'm writing to you, but that's part of the fun and creativity.

Letters might be old fashioned and usually too long to write for someone you don't personally know, so these will, at times, be more like notes in passing, but as I learn more about the way you are, the way you act, and speak, I might find the urge to write more, to write true and heartfelt letters.

This is almost like an experimentation to see what can be learned from observing people around oneself. And my focus point is you, the stranger sitting in class right now with that blank look on your face as your teacher drones on and on about school guidelines and rules, or something.
