December 20th

Dear boy with the hooded eyes,

I caught you looking at me today, while you were tucked away into that nook that has now been claimed as yours. My friends insisted that I should go talk to you, but I somehow convinced myself to leave you be. Your little crevice is that one place in the school where nobody dares to bother you and I wouldn't want to overstep any boundaries. Do you know how much I regretted not walking over to you when I heard from my friends that you were crying in the boys bathroom today? He had heard you talk with your mother and he wanted to reach out, but how do you reach out to a complete stranger?

I'm keeping a closer eye on you now.
