I walked up the corridors towards the Great Hall where I would be having dinner with 'mione.
I had told her that I would meet her there for dinner, and I just hadn't been hungry lately. But really, I was starving myself. My mind just kept racing through the amount of times people had been commenting on how much I eat, and I was tired of it.
The doors flew open as I made my way over to where Harry and Ron were sitting.
"Hi y/n!" Harry said, smiling.
"Hi!" I sat down across from them, hoping Hermione wouldn't be too long with Neville. I was looking forward to seeing her.
It was only a few more seconds when I noticed her making her way towards me and sitting down.
"Hi!" She exclaimed, clearly in a good mood.
"Hi 'mione!" Just as she opened her mouth to reply, the headmaster clinked a spook to his glass, asking for the students' attention.
I barely payed any attention to his speech, I had learned by now that it was just a catch-up for the staff. With a wave of his hands, the food appeared on the plates in front of us.
Before I could do anything, Hermione had automatically began placing food on my plate.
"Mione-" I began before being cut off.
"I don't want to hear it, y/n. You don't have to eat all of it, I'm just making sure you don't go hungry." Ron and Harry had exchanged confused looks- I'm guessing Hermione hadn't told them about my disorder.
"You know I'm barely going to touch any of this, right?" I scoffed.
"As Long as you eat some, I couldn't care less." She placed my plate in front of me.
"But I'm not hungry!" I tried to fight it. I really didn't feel like eating.
"How about, I take a bite first?"
Dammit, mione. You know that always works.
"Fine." I mumbled. She carefully picked up a piece of chicken with her fork and took a small bite before handing it to me.
I took a small bite from the side, just big enough to make her smile. Ron and Harry were still exchanging weird looks. I found it quite strange that Hermione hadn't told them.

The rest of dinner flew by, I didn't eat a lot, but at least enough for Hermione not to lecture me.
I was about to stand up and leave as dinner had finished, but I felt a small tap on my shoulder. I looked to my right to see Hermione with a worried expression on her face.
"Can I talk to you outside for a minute or two, y/n?"
Oh shit.
She knows. That's the exact same voice she used last time she knew.
"Uh, sure..." I replied, trying to sound normal. We both stood up and walked to the doors of the hall. We were standing a few metres away in the corridor.
We stopped walking, and she turned to me. I refused to look her in the eyes, but still attempted to look as if nothing was wrong.
I mean, maybe she didn't know. This could be about anything... right?
"Show me."
Oh shit. Maybe if I act dumb, she won't know.
"Show you what?" She signed at me words. She definitely knew. She always knows. This is what you get for hiding things from your extremely smart cousin.
"Show me your wrist." I gulped at the words. I know that she always knows, but how? I gently lifted up my sleeve, not all the way, though. Before I could even pull my sleeve down again, she pulled me in for a hug. Without thinking, I let myself be engulfed in her arms.
During the hug, it sounded as though there were footsteps behind us, but I brushed it off. It's not as though Hermione noticed anyway, so I'm probably just being paranoid again.
"You know you can talk to me, don't you?" She looked up at me with the hopeful eyes that I had longed to see for so long. They were my favourite sight. It was as if even though they were hopeful, they were also reassuring.
"Of course I know that, 'mione." I gave her a weak smile as tears stung the inner corners of my eyes. She gave the same smile to me, her hopeful eyes slowly turning into eyes of happiness. Eyes of joy.
God, I've missed those eyes.
"I have to head back to my dorm and meet Daph, but I'll write again tonight, ok?" I smiled, resting a reassuring hand on her shoulder, as if to say, 'I'll be fine.', or, 'I promise, it'll get better.'
"Looking forward to it. Love you, y/n."
"Love you, Hermione."
