I sat next to Phil after Lunch was over. We all came back to see what the judge was going to say.
Phil sighed then he turned to me, "Schlatt.."
I turn to him, he looks tired, "yes, Phil?"
"If Jared gets not Guilty, I want you to stay close to Wilbur, I know you two are boyfriends now but I need you guys to stay together.. close." Phil yawns.
I nod, "I will, no matter what happens."
Wilbur is talking to his lawyer, who seems sweet. Jared is yelling at his lawyer and throwing his hands up.
"May I have everyone's attention!" The judge bangs his wooden hammer on a small circle.
Everyone turns to the judge as he jesters to the Jury's, one person stands up and answers, "Jared has been found not guilty but.."
The judge explains, "Jared is to do 3 years of community service, will spend month in jail, plus will stay away from Wilbur under all circumstances." Jared turns his head to Wilbur, Phil smiles in happiness, and the judge continues, "and for Wilbur, Wilbur will spend 2 years in therapy."
The court meeting ends and everyone starts to head out, Jared starts yelling at his lawyer.
Wilbur hugged Puffy, "thank you!"
Puffy chuckled, "of course! If you ever need me," she backed up from the hug and gave Wilbur a piece of paper, "I'm always available."
Wilbur nodded then he looked over to see Jared staring at him, Wilbur flips Jared off as Phil, Kristen, Tommy, Schlatt, and Tommy move over to Wilbur, doing a group hug.
"Why don't we go out to eat tonight?" Kristen smiles.
