I was one of the last players to arrive at our camp. When I walked into the hotel lobby I was greeted by the training staff and Jill was the first one to greet me.

"Hey Queenie" The older woman wrapped me up in a tight hug.

"What's up coach? Ready for your last round?" I smirked at the woman who took a chance on me. I heard her chuckle.

"Yeah, I am." She let go of me but kept a hold of my arms with a smile on her face.

"I still can't convince you to stay a bit longer?" I looked at her hopeful. My voice was full of laughter but there was a bit of sincerity in it.

"No you can't. It's time for me to let you all go. That's how it works. Sometimes you have to know when it's the right time to walk away. You guys can handle yourselves without me."

This made me think. What she said hit close to home. It made me feel relieved because that's what I did with Alexia. It meant that I did a good thing.

"Yeah I guess."

Dawn was next in line to say hey. Just like Jill she pulled me into a tight hug, greeting me. Once I had said hey to everyone, Jill handed me a keycart.

"Sonnets already in your room. Go settle in before the team meeting." She said,

"So when you're about to leave, I'm finally allowed to room with Sonnet." I joked with her about to take the cart from my coach but before I could she retracted her hand.

"Don't make me regret it." She looked at me sternly.

"I promise." I sweetly smiled at her.

I grabbed the cart and rushed up the stairs up to my room. I opened the door and walked in but the sight I was met with almost made me burst out laughing.

Sonnet had her headphones on and was singing her head off to 'Baby' by Justin Bieber. She was doing some silly dance moves while singing into a hairbrush probably thinking she was alone in the room.

I started recording while I walked up to her trying to go undetected. When I was close enough to the defender, I timed my jump to jump on her back.

"SONNET!" I yelled, making the jump, scaring the shit out of the blonde. I was successfully holding on to her like a koala when she took her headphones off.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?! Do you want me dead or something?!" She tried to look at me but because I was on her back she failed to do so.

"Tempting but no. It was funny though." I smirked. Sonnet clearly had enough and started spinning around so she could get me off her back. Successfully throwing me off.

"I'll get you back. Don't worry." She promised me with a smirk, probably already thinking of a way to get me back.

I got settled in my room with a bit of help from sonnet. News that I had arrived traveled fast around the players. In no time most of them had stopped by to say hey or to hang out a bit.

That's why Sonnet, Lindsay, Rose, Sam, Abby and I were all a bit late to the meeting. We may or may not have forgotten the time while plotting one of our pranks that we would do at this camp.

The game against Ireland soon came and I was excited to see some of my friends again. The last couple of days I had busied myself with training to the point that my teammates noticed that I was burying myself with it but I didn't care. Every time they asked me about it I just smiled it off.

We won the match comfortably and applauded Jill afterwards because it was gonna be one of her last games. After this victory tour she was gonna step down as head coach.
