MADDY'S POV
14:15, day 2
This morning was going differently to what I thought, apart from capturing Marcus we all acted as if nothing was wrong, we planned to follow Marcus into the woods where he'd show us 'the others', we were in doubt of finding anything, let alone anyone.
5 hours later (19:16, day 2)
It was quite dark, we were going to set out, we were just waiting for Marcus to come back with Josh and the weapons, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, Danny went to check, 12 minutes, "Guys!" Danny shouted, "Get him!"
We all rushed round, and what we saw kind of amased us, Josh was tied to the weapons rack, with rope stuffed in his mouth, three knifes and a spear were missing, and Marcus was nowhere to be seen. But we knew better, he would've run to the woods, where we were about to go, he'd had a headstart but we were faster and smarter, well, maybe not smarter, but still, we were more skilled with weapons, and we had food and water, Marcus had eaten just 1 packet of dried fruit and 1 cracker with 1 gulp of water in the past day, we'd had almost 3 times that each. We were at the advantage.
Let me tell you one thing, the woods is scary in the day, at night it was worse, much worse. We followed a small trail of footprints until we saw smoke in the distance, we ran towards it, hoping that it was that of Marcus' fire.
