|Virion's POV|
"Virion, can I talk to you for a moment?" Rinia asks as I turn to look over at her. On her face sat a serious expression, one that instantly told me that what she had to say was important. I could see the multi-colored glow in her eyes, which only happened when she was using her deviant divinity.
"Little one. Arthur, go wait in the carriage. I'll be out in a few minutes." I turned to see both my granddaughter and her future husband look at me with a questioning glance. Arthur, being the more mature one out of the two must've figured out what it was that Rinia wanted to speak to me about, because his face turned just as serious as hers. An expression no child should be able to make.
Well, he may be centuries old, but compared to me, he can still be considered an infant.
"Okay grandpa! Just don't take too long!" My little one chirps happily, seemingly oblivious to the growing tension as she grabs the brats hand and skips over and out of the door.
"What did you see?" I immediately ask once I knew the two children were out of hearing range. Rinia sighs while rubbing her fingertips to her temples.
"Virion, something isn't right. That boy...he wasn't supposed to be here. On top of that, I can't read into his future at all. It's like a barrier is blocking me from doing so." She plops back down into the chair, sitting across the table from me.
"I know. He was supposed to be in The Tombs. But something broke him out of it." I sat back down with my arms folded over my chest, leaning back with my eyes closed in contemplation.
"Someone, Virion. Someone broke him out of purgatory. The only thing I saw that was remotely close to his future was a masked figure cloaked in black. Then that being waved his hand as I was pushed out of my own deviation." I sat up at that, my eyes widening with disbelief.
"That is impossible! Not even Sylvia Vritra has the ability to limit your divinity, so how—"
"I don't know, but that being is somehow linked to that boy, Virion. Be careful."

My conversation with Rinia came to a close. More questions that out way their answers plagued my mind as I sat in the quiet carriage. My little one sat slumped against Arthur with her head laying on his shoulder, while Arthur lay his cheek against her head.
The sight was heartwarming to say the least. I could tell that despite what he is, he actually does care about Tessia.
Yet, the world was too cruel to them.
Shaking myself out of my thoughts, the long ride back into the capital of Zestier came to an end. Leaning forward, I shook the shoulders of both children, and watched with a softened smile as they stirred awake.
"Did you love birds have a nice nap together??" I teased lightly and watched with amusement as Tessia immediately jolts away from Arthur, sitting stiffly upright. Arthur on the other hand, sat quietly with a gentle blush blooming on his cheeks.
