the next morning
"lily! wake uppp!"Steve shouts at lily
"five more minutes" she's asked hiding under the cover
"no get up we need to pick up Nancy" Steve says lily groans and gets up
"ill be ready in 10 minutes now get out"she says and Steve leaves her room lily walked over to her wardrobe and picks out some jeans with a metallic t-shirt and puts on some converse she throws her hair up and runs over to the window she looks out and sees its looks cold so grabs her denim jacket and goes to the bathroom. She brushes her teeth and heads into the kitchen grabbing an apple
"lily hurry up" she can hear Steve shouting from the car
"i'm coming"she says grabbing her bag and heading out to the car.
The drive was awkward as soon as nancy joined lily was sat in the back listening to Nancy go on about Steves work
"its crap I know"Steve says annoyed at himself
"no its not crap"Nancy says lily can obviously tell she's lying Steve was shit at school so was lily in fact guess it was the Harrington way

"lily go to school "Steve replies as lily grabs her bag and gets out the car
"bye Nance by Steve good look with the crap" she says smiling as she turns and walks towards the middle school.Suddenly a loud screech comes from the car park "Jesus"lily says trying not to get run over "watch it arsehole"lily shouts she walks to the boys but turns around and sees a redhead get out of the car and skate over to her as an older boy gets out and glare at her while strutting into the high school.the redhead comes over to lily
"hey sorry about my brother"she says lily could not be slightly bothered
"sure whatever"she says as she walks over to will who looks upset looking down at a newspaper. lily grabs it out his hand "who did this"she says getting angry
"I don't know just leave it lills" will pleased not wanted to cause anymore trouble the bell rings
"alright will"she says putting her arm around him walking to class.
"meet the human brains i know I know it dosen't look like much"mr Clarke rolls on lily isn't paying much attention mostly busted zoned out till the class door opes and the redhead walks in
"you've got to be shitting me"lily whispers
"ah this must be our new student"mr clarke says
"indeed it is all yours all also I need to speak to mrs Harrington after school"the principal says everyone turns to look at you
"for fuck sakes"Lilly whispers once again
"okay sir"she says smiling
"all right hold up you don't get away that easily"mr clarke says as the girl tries to walk to a free seat "come on up Don't be shy"he says "dustin drum roll" dustin grabs a book and begins to drum on it "class, please welcome, all the way from sunny California, the latest passenger to join us on out curiosity voyage, maxine"mr clarke says

"sorry?"mr clarke asks
"nobody calls me maxine its max"the boys all look at each other and Lilys mind clicks this has to be madmax she thought to herself as if she didn't hate her enough from this morning and her brother almost killing her she now finds out she took her high score lily was fuming
