*Xavier's POV*

Enid had prepared a surprise birthday party for Wednesday, I texted Agatha to see if she would be there and like every day since the parents weekend I got no response from her. I know that she sees the messages but she is not even able to answer me.

We had everything ready for Wednesday but after being discovered after Ajax choked, the girl turned her attention directly to the Latin writing on the wall. Enid seemed upset, so I walked over to her and asked, "Is Agatha okay? I've been trying to contact her but she's not in her room and she's not answering my texts".

She looked me straight in the eyes and it was the first time I saw anger in her eyes "Xavier, she doesn't want to see you anymore, can't you accept the fact that you've been ghosted? Too bad because she did" she said in a steady tone while pushing the cake towards me to take it. And after that she went out in a huff, what was her problem ?

Ajax and I were the only ones who stayed in Crackstone's crypt, smoking and eating the whole cake. "Fuck man, I don't understand the problem with girls, you give them everything but they are never happy" I spoke with my mouth full of the delicious cake we had ordered.

"Is there a problem between you and Agatha?" he asked me, taking a bite a little more cleanly than I did.

"She's been ignoring me for the past week. I fucking love her but it's hard when you don't get anything in return. Like you and Enid it seems to be mutual but it's not the same with Agatha, she's distant and cold"

"You know, with Enid it works so well because she's my best friend and she doesn't play in this team" he smiled as he finished chewing his cake.

I frowned, trying to figure out what he meant by that. Oh well. I understand better now.

"Agatha has always been difficult you know, even when you were still with Bianca" he continued "I think you should give her some space to think a little".

"I'm so in love with her it can't end like that " I replied with a more serious tone as I watched him light the fourth joint of the night.

"Let's just smoke and forget about it" he hands me the joint. I took a drag of it and exhaled, throwing my head back. I needed to forget about Agatha just for a moment.

I spent the next day cleaning up my painting studio. I tried to take my mind off it by painting and listening to music. Sciuri Sciura from Blonde Redhead was playing on the radio while I was finishing a painting I started a few days ago when I was interrupted by two girls accompanied by Thing. My gaze went straight to the brunette I had been looking for for days, my heart started to race, on her side she avoided my gaze so I moved my attention to the girl next to her.

"I need your help" the girl with pigtails said while passing me a piece of paper with a sketch on it. I turned off the music that was still playing in the background. "Your line work's a lite shaky" I tried to lighten the mood.

"I saw that in a vision. Do you recognize it?" she asked, I looked at the wall to my right where a drawing I made a few days ago was hanging.

"When did you draw this?" She asked but my attention was still on Agatha, I studied her. She was also looking at the wall with her arms crossed over her chest, she was beautiful even if she looked whiter than usual, was she sick? She had a perfect profile and my gaze stopped on her perfect lips that I hadn't kissed in what seemed like decades.
