Aphmau and Thalleous are working on a special project that they claim might be the "key" the end this war...once and for all

As Aphmau walked down the dirt path towards an old house she stops at the door. The buyer supposedly lived here.

She walled up the steps and knocked on the door, "L-Lady Aphmau!" the buyer spoke, "your late" Aphmau spoke with a bit of anger in her voice, "I've been a bit body is all. I promise you I was just on my way to deliver your supplies," he said nervously as she walked up toward him

"Really? Last, I recall you were two days behind," Aphmau said displeased with what she was hearing, "I promise you I'll deliver the supplies," he stammered, "Oh, really?" Aphmau asked as she raised her blade towards him, "If you're late again...I won't hesitate to end your whole carrier," she said leaving, "ugh I do not like that girl," the supplier mumbled

Thalleous was going over some war plans when Aphmau walked in, "how is our project coming along?" she asked, and Thalleous pulled out a scroll reading Project Shellfire on the front, "it should be ready within a month sadly," Thalleous sighed

"But we don't have a month. Michel will have taken over Ardonia by then!" Aphmau growled as Thalleous lowered his head. Aphmau sighed, "I've taken care of our supplier," Aphmau said sitting down, "we need this. It's our key to winning. Especially if the Knights of Ardonia try to go against Michel again," Aphmau said

"Then I say we double defense" Dante said coming up from behind Thalleous, "Naxos is our safe haven. If it falls...it's game over" Dante said with a flick of his tail.

"It won't fall. I have guards patrolling the tunnels and docks every second. No one gets in without us knowing" Aphmau said, "and what about the Deathsinger? Have we truly forgiven him?" Dante questioned, "Most of the people seem to forgive him. But I'm still unsure," Aphmau said with a sigh. 

After talking Aphmau was looking out on her balcony. She was responsible for protecting this city and its people. If Michel found this place and she failed to protect them? No! She wasn't going to start with 'what ifs' and 'maybes' she was a goddess for peats sake. She is a strong woman. She has raised 3 children plus one more on the way. She can do anything. 

Thalleous on the other hand has been trying to make this happened for about a month now. He could tell Aphmau's patients is thin. He could tell she wasn't happy waiting any longer than she needed too. 

But it's all going to change. As Thalleous walked up to the metal bars a low growl was heard, "don't worry. You'll serve your purpose then you'll be free. But for now...we let the games begins"...
