Shad looked at the fireplace in his chamber. Its amber glow filled the already dark room. He was waiting. Waiting for the right moment to strike.
Shad only had one thought on his mind. He wants to have vengeance for the death of his son. But fait had its way.
Shad walked towards the large Nether Portal as it glowed bright purple. He smirked as knew his next move would show everyone.
What it takes to be a King...
Many Years Ago
Shad stood there. Holding his son's lifeless body and his son's song close by. His son was his everything to him. Now he was gone.
Shad stared at his son's grave. He didn't have Voltar so he did the next best thing. He has some leftover red paint from when Jonas would paint in his free time.
Shad even wrote on the gravestone so people would know whose life was taken. Jonas Voltaris, Beloved Son to Shad Voltaris. May Irene Watch over him.
Shad felt his blood boil as he felt the pain of losing the only thing that kept him sane during the war, "I promise you Jonas when I find that Nestoris who did this. He will pay for his crimes" Shad promise to protect Jonas and now with anger makes him second-guess his judgment. As the group made their way out of the harsh mountains and name their way towards Nestoria we're Shad would ensures that Jonas didn't die in vain, "As some would say Winter is Turning" As Shad said those words, he would not stop no matter how much blood was split he would avenge Jonas... Once... And... For... All

"Anything?" Shad questioned as his general, Gene Nestoris entered, "no sign of any Voltaris movement in the last five years sir," Gene said.
Shad glanced at the portal for a moment before walking away, "Pythus thought he was powerful. Well, two can play that game. No matter what they think. The Nether will rise once more and claim the land as ours again!!!" Shad announced and some of his soldiers cheered, "Send word to Ivan. Let him know I require him in my throne room," Shad hissed. Gene nods.
"Oh and, send word to our associates in Naxos. Let them know...We begin The Takeover,"...
Author's Note: (SPOILER For the Next Few chapters)
When Shad said to "Send word" this implies that there is a mole in Naxos leaking Shad Information about the Voltaire.
But the question is Who's the Mole?
