22: Nearly Forgotten

Elsa's point of view

The 3rd task was done, everyone was shocked on what happened.

Harry said that he's back, and you-know-who killed Cedric Diggory. Everyone was shocked when they heard the news.

So we all held a ceremony, giving Cedric Diggory a proper good bye.

A few weeks later, students did their things, keeping this week a normal week.

So do we.

Jackson was pretty proud to accomplish his tasks. Well as his girlfriend, I'm proud too.

I'm proud that he didn't die in the middle of those tasks.

"Shall we go out like Eugene said?" Jackson said, "Even I hate going out with him, can we? Let's have a little fun!"

He's a little pumped up. I'm worried that he would just collapsed here. We're at the great hall, we're eating because it's break time.

I wonder how many energy did Jackson gain this time? He's so hyper.

"Have you eaten any chocolate?" I asked him.

"How did you know?" He said as he sit down beside me with a gigantic smile on his face.

"Obviously, you're pumped up. You're all hyper. I'm worried." I said with a caring voice.

"Aww... Why are you worried? I'm fine, baby."

"Forgot that you have cancer?" His eyes widen.

"I-I nearly forget about that. I'm so happy about the tournament that I forgotten that I have-" I pulled him into a hug and I sighed.

"It's fine, darling. I'm sorry to be a disturbance in your happiness." I said.

"It's fine, babe. Thank you for reminding me about that. I nearly forgot. I love you." He said.

I smiled because of his words, especially I love you.

I reached out to his ears and I whispered, "I love you too."

We hugged each other.

Jack's point of view

I know that our verdict about the bet is that when the competition is done, Eugene and Kristoff would announce to Elsa that I'm dead.

But no. That's not what is going to happen.

"Yeah, I guess so," Kristoff said, "I guess.... This is going to be hard, Jack. Eugene is Threatening you. But maybe it's a good thing."

I looked at him, confused. We're at the three broomsticks and it's just me and Kristoff.

"What's the good thing about his threat? Tell me?" I asked, a little bit irritated.

"Well, maybe he wants you to end this early so...."

"So?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

Then he just smiled at me. I rolled my eyes and I took a sip on my butter beer.

"See?" I sigh, "well maybe there's a good thing but I just can't see it. Anyways, he mentioned that we should celebrate and eat at muggle shop? Why so sudden?"

"Well he also mentioned to me that he's curious about the muggles 'fast foods' like... What did he told me? Wait... Something like... Ma-... Mac something." I laughed at Kristoff.

He looks so funny.

"You mean McDonald's?" I said, holding my chuckle.

"Woah, how did you know about that? You hate muggles, don't you?" He said.

"Well, if I hate muggles it means I hate Elsa so, I learned to accept them. She mentioned McDonalds before, I just forgotten when."

After we finished our butter beers, we went back to school. I got back to my private room and I threw myself at my bed. I took a deep breath and I closed my eyes.

I guess... Even tho me and Eugene fought about the bet, I guess we can still go out, right? Like he said, 'celebrate' because I freaking won the competition.

Well, not really won, you know. Harry Potter won. Like always. I was kinda pissed but I know I couldn't do anything about it.

Jesus, I nearly forgotten about my illness! I should be a little more careful. Elsa is Clever, she could tell if I really have cancer in one flick of a wand. I'm surprised she didn't told anyone about this, including the Professors and the head master. If she would, I'm so doomed.

A knock on my door makes me sprang up from my bed. I opened the door and it revealed Eugene.

"Let's have fun tomorrow, shall we?"

I smile at his words,

"Yeah."
