Extra 3: The All-Nighter

(Meow Skulls and I have been starting to run out of ideas on what to do. You'd think that living on the new Island would give you lots of stuff to do. Doesn't really feel that way. Or, maybe it has, and we've just done all of that fun stuff already. Either way, we're bored. Or at least, we WERE bored, until Meow Skulls came up with the idea of staying up all night. I thought it wasn't a bad idea. I mean, we're just gonna be staying inside the whole time. It's not like we're gonna be doing some crazy or stupid or in-between, just staying inside chilling. Or as Meow Skulls would put it, "keeping it calico."

Some time has passed for the two, letting them experience old and new possibilities on the Island. However, they seemed to have stumbled upon a roadblock, running out of ideas on how to entertain themselves. A new idea was made by Meow Skulls, though. They would stay up all night long and do fun activities together. Not seeming like a bad idea to Y/N, they would proceed to do the following activities in the following order of time;

Battle Breakers - 7:38PM

"Yo, Y/N! I got something good for tonight!" Shouts Meow Skulls the moment she opens the front door.

"Really? What did you get?" Asks Y/N, looking over from the couch.

"Oh, you know, just one of the last physical copies of Battle Breakers, that's what!" Replies Meow Skulls while showing them the game.

"Wait, Battle Breakers? I thought that game was only playable on arcade machines." Says Y/N with a puzzled look.

"Nah, they've always made physical copies. They're kinda different from the arcade machine ones. And they've been sellin' like hot cakes these past few days, mostly 'cause their servers are gonna shuttin' down in like a month or somethin'." Says Meow Skulls.

"Huh. So, why'd you get it if you knew they were gonna shut down their servers?" Asks Y/N.

"Well, we haven't tried the physical game yet, have we? Dontcha wanna experience this before it's gone for good?" Asks Meow Skulls while putting in the game disk.

"Yeah, maybe you're right. Guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a try." Says Y/N.

"Exactly! So, you ready?" Asks Meow Skulls, getting ready to sit on the couch.

"You bet!" Says Y/N while being handed a controller from Meow Skulls.

Pizza - 9:41PM

"Dang, I'm starving. You wanna get some pizza or somethin'?" Asks Meow Skulls after finishing their current match.

"I mean, we can if you want. I thought we weren't gonna be leaving for anywhere, though?" Says Y/N, stretching after the match.

"We won't. We'll just get it delivered. So, what're you wantin'?" Asks Meow Skulls, pulling out her phone to get ready to place an order.

"Um... I think I'll just have a plain cheese pizza. I just feel like something simple." Replies Y/N.

"Whatever you want, I guess. But I'm getting one of those pizzas with extra meat, anchovies, and stuffed crust. You can have some of my slices if ya change your mind." Says Meow Skulls before entering the number.

After Meow Skulls finishes ordering their food, they continue playing Battle Breakers as they wait about a half an hour for their delivery to arrive.

Movie - 10:13PM

When their food finally arrives, Meow Skulls picks up 4 slices of her order of pizza before she sits back down on the couch and uses the TV remote to scroll down through the many selections of movies. Y/N grabs 2 slices of their order of pizza and sits down next to Meow Skulls, waiting for her to pick a show to watch together.

"Boring, boring, nah, boring, bo- oh! Here's somethin' good!" Says Meow Skulls after suddenly finding a suitable movie.

"Jackass: The Movie, huh? That sounds promising." Says Y/N, already starting to eat their first slice of pizza.

"I know, right?! I love this movie. The guys in this are awesome!" Says Meow Skulls, starting to get excited.

"Yeah, but they can get a bit carried away, don't you think? Y'know, with their stunts and all" Says Y/N.

"Duh! That's what makes them awesome. Can't wait to laugh my ass off watchin' this again!" Says Meow Skulls before pressing play on the remote.

The two had a lot of fun watching the movie while eating their pizza. So much fun to the point where they decided to fully watch 2 more Jackass films after that.

TV- 2:39AM

"Hey, uh... you still awake, Meow Skulls...?" Asks Y/N, turning to see an almost lifeless Meow Skulls drooping on the couch.

"...Huh? Oh, yeah, yeah, I was just... restin' my eyes..." Replies Meow Skulls, sitting straight back on the couch while rubbing her eyes.

"Then maybe we should go to bed soon...? It's getting pretty late..." Says Y/N while checking the time on their phone.

"Nah, we said we were doing an all-nighter, didn't we...? Let's just... let's just watch somethin' else other than Jackass... it's getting pretty loud..." Says Meow Skulls, yawning during her speaking.

"...Alright, sure..." Says Y/N before changing to something different on the TV.

The two grew mores tired as they continued to watch TV. It was now only a matter of time until one of them crashed if exhaustion.

3:03AM

As Y/N was just about to close their eyes, trying to continue sitting straight on the couch, they suddenly felt a slight thud on their shoulder. It was Meow Skulls, suddenly falling asleep on them.

(Oh... I guess she finally fell asleep. I'm kinda comfy right now... maybe I'll just wait a little while until I carry her to bed with me.)

A few minutes passed, with Y/N continuing to relax on the couch with the sleeping Meow Skulls resting her head on their shoulder. It was until a sudden sound that caught Y/N by surprise, and caused them to blush once they knew where the sound originated from.

(Wait... is that sound coming from... Meow Skulls? Hold on, is she... is she purring? In her sleep?! Wow, I-I've never heard her purr before. She sounds so cute...)

A few more minutes passed, and Y/N finally decided that it was time for the both of them to head to bed. Y/N carefully took Meow Skulls in their arms, and carried her to bed along with them. They eventually managed to get her comfy in bed, and once they did, they snuggled right beside her and started hugging her gently from her back, suddenly hearing her purring once again at that moment. The two might not have been able to stay up all night, but at least they had a nice and relaxing time trying.
