"Raven..." Robin called out to his second-in-command team mate. They were both at the roof top of the tower, sitting at the very edge of it. The wind was blowing gently as her hair gracefully danced with it. Her amethyst eyes met his mask-covered ones. She was indeed a beautiful sight to behold. Her eyes were very expressive even though her face expression says otherwise.

"Robin..." The way she uttered his name made his heart beat fast. He looked at her face, remembering each feature. Her lips caught his eyes. He felt this urge to place his lips over hers. He wanted to feel her lips brushing upon his own ones. He followed this urge and his face slowly decreased the distance between them.

Raven didn't budge at his move; instead she willingly closed her eyes, waiting for him. Their lips were about to make contact with each other but a loud banging sound was heard...

Robin turned to the other side of his bed, not knowing that it was the edge. He fell off his bed and hit his face on the room's floor, kissing the floor instead of Raven. The loud banging sound was still heard in his room.

"Ouch." He rose from lying and clutched his face.

"Robin! Dude! Wake Up!!" An annoying morning call from Beast Boy woke him up from his senses. Sadly making him realize that the whole Raven and he almost kissing was just a dream. Take note, a beautiful yet irritating dream.

"It was so close! So close! That had to be just 1 inch apart!" He whispered to himself as he glared at his room's door, where Beast Boy was behind it. He was mad for he didn't even get the chance to kiss his crush in the dream. Yeah, the Boy Wonder was attracted to the gothic beauty of their team. That is why he can't understand the reason why people, also his fellow team mates, pair him and Starfire as a couple when he has feelings for someone special.

He stood up; pulling his blanket that fell with him. "Stupid Beast Boy! Stupid dream! Stupid Me!" He murmured again.

Raven's eyes fluttered open, blinking a couple of times. She had awoken from her slumber when she heard Starfire's voice, telling her to rise and shine. It was surprising that Starfire woke up earlier than her. But she didn't mind it.

What's ringing through her mind was the dream she had before she rose. She dreamt about him, again! Not once, but already thrice this week. It was always the same dream. His voice calling her attention, them having their lips almost locked together, and as usual, violently interrupted by her fellow team mates.

She thought of the dream again. How would it feel if those lips of his landed on hers? Was it like she'd imagine? Or even better? She rubbed her temples to ease her mind.

'What was I thinking?! Why would he even want or just say dare to kiss me? I'm way out of his type. He'll never like me for just being me. So I should quit thinking about him. It won't do me any good.' She reprimanded herself. She took a handful of water and wet her face with it before she opened her room's door.
