They're a couple here. :)

Raven sighed for the 100th time, her eyes fixing themselves at the floor. She still hadn't got any present for Robin. She was having a hard time looking for something she'd want to give him. Just then, an idea popped in her mind.

Should she even bother? She had a debate deep inside her. There's nothing to lose in trying right? She determinedly stood up and headed for the kitchen.

Here goes nothing. She thought to herself as inky black magic covered various items in the kitchen, preparing them for what she was going to do: bake a cake.

She flicked her wrist a bit for the cook book to turn to the right page. Ah... Beat two eggs in a bowl. What could be hard in doing that?

She did as per what she had read until she reached the last step. Finally putting the pan inside the oven, she started setting the timer and waited patiently, reading a book in the process.

Soon enough, the timer rang, calling her attention. She turned off the oven and got some mittens. An evenly cooked cake, without frosting for the meantime, was what she saw in front of her. She eyed it suspiciously. After all, looks could be deceiving. She mentally slapped herself as her hand made its way to grab the icing bag with a decorative tip at the end.

Decorating the cake the way she liked, she looked satisfied with her work. It was really pleasing to eat. A soft smile escaped from her lips. Lastly, she added a short message on top of it.

Robin,

Merry Christmas. I love you.

~Raven.

Putting her masterpiece in a box, Raven tied a small ribbon on it. She cleaned her mess and left the kitchen.

Raven just stood in front of his door, not knocking, no nothing. She just stood and stared at it while holding the box.

"I shouldn't have done this. I guess I should just back out." She murmured under her breath and was about to leave when the door slid open, revealing her boyfriend. She immediately hid the box behind her.

"Hey Rae. What's that?" He moved to check what she was hiding but she kept turning to face him, not letting him see it any further.

"Robin it's nothing. I just dropped by to hi." Nice escape, Raven. She reprimanded herself. She felt relief when Robin stopped moving around.

"Really, Rae?" He asked with a grin plastered on his face. Raven involuntarily blushed and immediately looked down the floor, not wanting to embarrass herself more by letting him see her red face.

"Yes. I'm going back to my room." She started to take steps backwards but unfortunately Robin had other plans.

"Rae..." She looked up upon hearing that only to be surprised by his lips. He didn't seem to hesitate and only kissed her deeply. Shocked, Raven still replied to his kisses, oblivious of what his true agenda was.

The moment his lips left her, her eyes widened as he raised the box she was holding just a moment ago with a smirk on his face.

"Can't hide this from me, Rae." He swiftly untied the ribbon and opened the lid.

"Don't!" She said and tried grabbing the box from his hand but he evaded her quickly. Raven wished the ground could eat her as she saw his gaze fixed on the content. She nervously bit her lower lip and averted her gaze.

"Don't eat it. Just throw it or something, whatever pleases you. I don't want you to have food poisoning on Christmas day." She mumbled and almost screamed when Robin started dragging her inside his room.

"Why would I throw it? You made it for me. I wouldn't let that effort go wasted, Rae." He grabbed a fork out of nowhere and took a small piece of the cake over his mouth. She carefully studied his expression as he chewed the cake. He was silent for a few moments which made Raven's heartbeat race.

"Should I bring you to the infirmary now?" She asked him but Robin only smiled at her.

"Are you kidding me? This cake's gotta be the best I've ever tasted! You're getting good at this, Rae." Her jaw dropped as she watched him eating in delight.

"Here try it." He handed her the fork, which she took immediately, getting a small chunk and shoved it in her mouth. It was... well, good. She inwardly commented.

"My turn." Robin simply uttered as he pulled her closer to him, giving her a peck on the forehead, then her nose, and lastly a soft kiss on her lips.

"Merry Christmas, Rae. Thank you for the best present." He whispered something over her ear that made her happy and flustered at the same time. He, then, put some of the frosting on her face and dashed out of his room.

"Guys! You wouldn't believe this! I just got my best Christmas present!" Was what he proclaimed as he ran to meet with the other titans.

Raven smiled to herself as she remembered what he said. "It's the best because aside from the fact that it came from you, it's also made out of love." Her hand then landed on her cheek, feeling the frosting he had put on her.

That reminds her. She'll have to get her revenge on him.
