Karli's POV:

"He has taken his eyes off of you the whole show." Said Laney in between songs as she sipped her fourth Red Stag and Dr. Pepper. "That man totally wants to bone."

"No one -and I do mean no one- says 'bone' anymore. You have been spending too much time around Phil. That sound like some shit his awkward ass would say." I said lifting my own mixed drink to my lips and taking a big swallow as Laney shrugged her shoulders. Just thinking about Brantley wanting to 'bone' had my heart racing and my lower half clenching with desire. Because even if I wouldn't admit it to Laney and Jocelynn, I wanted that man fiercely. I wanted to live a little, to have some fun while I wasn't under the watchful eye of one of the club guys. But I also didn't want him to look at me as a groupie who just wanted to say that she had had sex with him for the bragging rights of it all.

"Well, if bone doesn't work for you, what about fuck? Does 'that man wants to fuck your brains out and give you the best sex of your life' sound better? Jocelynn chimed in. Her words made me blush, considering she had practically just read my mind. It wasn't that I was virgin or anything -like so many other girls I'd lost my V-card back in high school to a loser who just wanted to say that he was the virgin girls first- but I wasn't an experienced woman either. Having an overprotective brother, overprotective 'uncles', and a mom that would chops someone's balls off for hurting her daughter didn't give a girl a fighting chance of living out any sort of fantasies.

"If I went there with him, it wouldn't take much for it to be the best sex of my life." I said, looking down at the drink in my hand as if it was now the most interesting thing within eyesight. "I mean you two know my track record with men, or should I say lack thereof." I added with just the slightest hint of melancholy.

"Which is why if that man gives you any indication that he wants to fuck you seven ways from Sunday, you need to jump all over that shit and hold on for dear life. Didn't you say before we even left your house that you wanted tonight to be one that you always remember? Did you say that it was freeing to be able to go out and do what you wanted for once? You know just as well as I do that you don't get the chance to be an adult without a fucking chaperone all that often. So, tonight is about making the best of it." Said Laney, sitting up from her relaxed position on the couch.

"What am I supposed to do? Just walk up to the man, slam my lips down over his, and climb him like a damn tree, not letting go until he gives me what I want?" I asked.

"If that's what you want then yes." Said Jocelynn. "I love ya girl but you have got to stop thinking about the consequences of your actions; or at least how Jax will react to them." Said Laney.

"Easy for you to say. You don't share blood with him. You don't have to listen to him ramble on about how I need to be a proper lady while he gets to do whatever the hell he wants because he has a dick and I don't." I said, sinking back onto the couch.

"Then its fucking time that you start living the life that you want. For god's sake Kar, you are 31 goddamn years old. Jax isn't your father. He has no right to dictate your life, no matter if he thinks he does." Said Jocelynn, the Boston accent that she worked to hide slipping because of the alcohol flowing through her system, something that happened every time she drank.

"She's right." Said Laney, nodding her head at Jocelynn's words. "It's pretty fucking hypocritical for Jax to think that you need to be this prim and proper lady when he gets to fuck whores like Ima and watch Lyla eat some girls snatch all because he owns Cara Cara. And don't get me started on that drug addicted cunt that he knocked up." Said Laney, referring to Wendy, Abel's mom.
