Why in the world his brother needed to take a flight to Jersey that literally landed in the middle of the night was anybody's guess, but that was the exact reason why Delilah and he were there. Stuck at the airport, just a few minutes before midnight.

Kal was safely at home and Delilah had brought along to-go cups with coffee which had been a very smart thing to do because otherwise, he would have probably already fallen asleep.

God, he was getting old.

"When is the flight supposed to land again?" He asked Delilah, who was sitting next to him, knitting something that looked very much like little baby booties. He was quite sure they were for Betty. There had been a whole collection of knitted newborn stuff mysteriously making its way into Betty's diaper bag whenever Delilah was in her nearer vicinity.

"Probably in around ten minutes as you last asked me literally 5 minutes ago," she gave back drily, casting off the baby bootie with a twist of her wrist and then happily putting it in her bag, where Henry knew the matching second was. She did finally turn towards him, mustering him with an amused glint in her eyes.

"You missed Charlie," she said teasingly and he just rolled his eyes.

"I haven't seen him since Christmas, of course, I miss him," Henry said drily. Charlie was living in Vancouver, having followed his wife there, and mostly only came home over the summer or sometimes over Christmas. Still, he was missed, though their mother had eventually forgiven Kathryn for taking her baby boy away from her by the time she got another two grandsons out of it. "But it's great that we'll all get to be together for a few weeks and for Betty's christening," he added with a grin. They didn't get together with everybody accounted for that often, mostly because all of them had their own busy lives.

"It's because he is the only one you can lord over the head that you are the older one, isn't it?" Delilah said with some amusement and Henry decided not to answer.

"You know, the more time I spent at airports, the more I dislike them," he changed the topic instead and Delilah snorted.

"You are just spoiled because half the time we take a private jet. And don't need to wait at all," Delilah gave back immediately, her voice teasing.

"And you are in a very chipper mood," he said drily because that had been the 3rd time in a few minutes of her teasing him and Delilah just grinned unrepentantly at him.

"It's the sugar," she responded immediately. "I made brownies. I may have eaten too much of the batter. Maybe ."

"And you didn't offer me any? I am wounded here, Princess," he immediately pouted as he reached out to slip his hand in hers.

"You were outside with Kal!" She defended herself with a laugh, and he just growled playfully as he leaned down to press a kiss against the top of her head.

"My revenge will be horrible ," he threatened her with another growl and Delilah just burst out laughing.

"They are in the fridge. You know I like them better when they are all fudgy. Also, I made Vanilla Ice Cream to go along with them," she told him and he just groaned.

Delilah's Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream and Brownies. His personal Trainer would have his head .

"You are terrible for my figure," he said drily.

"Your figure is fine," Delilah shot back immediately. "Your Sixpack has a Sixpack."

He couldn't help but laugh at that, even when she poked him in the stomach. He caught her hand before Delilah had the great idea to start poking him into the ribs and tickle him like she was sometimes prone to do when she wanted him to laugh.
