Chapter 6

No ones POV

It was Monday and Kazuha was at school right now. He was still feeling uneasy about what he found out yesterday thanks to mimi. He wanted to avoid Tomo as much as he could. He held the camera close to him and walked through the hallway which was filled with students doing their own business.

He's now currently in science class with Mr.Albedo. scara, of course, being beside him. Scara noticed Kazuha's uneasiness and decided to ask about it later at lunch. He couldn't bear to see his love being all worried. Was it because he left yesterday? questions occupied his mind, asking himself if he did something to make him feel like this.

"Since it's almost been a month since we're at school, we will be having a field trip tomorrow in the woods. not just any woods of course. we will be going to one of the most safest woods in teyvat that is suitable for camping and staying there. anyway, please get ready and pack your things. we will stay there for about a week so please make sure you pack enough clothes and your other belongings." Mr.Albedo said.

Scara looked forward to going on the trip since he can spend more time with kazuha, he hopes this field trip brings them even more...close. He also hoped that kazuha would be going on the field trip.

Kazuha POV

a field trip in the woods seems interesting, i wonder if scara will be going. "psst scara" I whispered, hoping the teacher wouldn't hear me. "What do you want?" he whispered back. "Will you be going to the field trip? it seems fun" "only if you will" "i will be going so you're coming" "whatever you say"

Now it is lunch time, I'm hoping not to run into tomo. Soon he spotted me and walked towards me and scara. just great. "hey kaz, would you like to eat lunch with me?" he asks with a smile. "Actually I'm planning to eat with scara hehe," I said awkwardly. "oh..i see, have fun" he said and walked away. "he seems upset" scara said "yeah i'll talk to him later" which i obviously wont.

we sat on our usual spot, under a tree. "I wonder what we will do on the field trip," I said and leaned back to the tree. "It will definitely be fun," Scara assured me. I hope he will be right. "yeah i hope so"

school ended and now it was time to go home. I waved scara a goodbye and began to walk home, but then someone grabbed my hand. I looked behind me to see Tomo with a sad expression. "uh hey, do you need something?" I asked and tried to pull my hand away but he was strong enough to hold it. "Did I do something wrong?" he asks out of the blue. "Why would you say that?"
"it's just that you're talking less to me"
"you did nothing wrong, i've just been busy these days haha..." i sweat dropped
"with what? hanging out with scara?" he said boldly

We stayed quiet for a while and I broke the silence. "he's just a friend to me nothing more..i don't like him" i lied about the last part
"hm alright.." he gave me a suspicious look and let me go, jeez he's creeping me out
"are you going to the field trip?" he asked
"um yeah i am"
"me too, i look forward to see you on the trip tomorrow, see ya" he said and walked away
Dammit, I was hoping he wasn't coming..
