"Eh-" That's was the only thing that I could say. The girl infront of me was gorgeous. The different colored hair added to her smile, making her look just that much more approachable.
"It's nice to meet you!" She smiled extending her hand. I shook her hand.
"Nice to meet you too." I replied smiling slightly. She was the first random person to say something nice to me immediately.
"Uwah! Giyuu, you didn't tell me your sister was so cute!" She yelled pressing her hands on her cheeks squealing. I felt my fave go red and looked away.
"You never asked." Giyuu said.
"Well it's been nice meeting you Kanroji, but I should get back to training." I said backing up until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Giyuu looking at me.
"Don't think I forgot about what I said, we're going to go and eat." He said.
"Wait can I come too! I would love to get to know Y/N!" Mitsuri said. I looked down suddenly feeling scared.
"I'm not hungry." I said. I felt my hands getting pulled. I looked at my hands which were being held by another pair. I look up and see Mitsuri staring at me pouting.
"Please Y/N! I can make some rice and miso soup!" She said jumping up and down.
"Fine.." I gave in. She squealed and hugged me. I felt myself get heated again, I wonder why I keep feeling like this.
"Come on!" She said grabbing mine and Giyuu's hands. I saw his eyes widen a bit when she started dragging us. She kept smiling as we tried to keep up with her while our hands were still in her grasp. Obviously we weren't uses to this much energy, well atleast not this type of energy.
"Kanroji-! We can follow you, you don't have to hold on to us!" I yelled. She stopped and let us go.
"No need, we're here!" Misturi exclaimed. She went up to the door and held it open, I took it as a sign to walk in so I did. As I walked in I admired what I saw. She had photos plastered on the walls. Pictures of her with others who I believe were hashiras. I chuckled softly at the picture of Rengoku and her sitting on some guys arms while he's flexing. Suddenly I saw a picture that caught my attention. It was a picture of her and Rengoku, not that long ago but you can tell that it wasn't a picture taken a month or two ago, it looked like if they were celebrating something.
"Sorry but what's this photo here?" I asked pointing at the photo. She walked up and looked at it for a second.
"Ah! Thats when I passed the final selection, me and Rengoku were celebrating!" She answered.
"You knew Rengoku?"
"Yeah, he taught me what I know!" She said. I stared at her.
"You were able to survive his training?" I asked.
"Mhm!" She hummed happily. I felt as if a ton of weights just fell on me. How was she this loose about training schedules but still able to put up with Rengoku's schedules.
"Just how strong are you?" I asked her. She sighed nervously at first but then relaxed.
"Well uh- let's say that you shouldn't be confused by my appearance. My muscle density is actually 8 times the one of a regular humans." She said. I stood there quietly in shook processing it. She shuffled around a little, almost as if waiting for a reaction.
"That's amazing-" I said after a while. She looked up at me surprised.
"Really?!" She said smiling.
"Yeah, no wonder you were able to get through Rengoku's training. You're incredibly strong, I'm amazed." I said. Honestly it's not like if she looked weak but its surprising that she's all that strong.
"You're not that weak either Y/N." Giyuu said walking out of the kitchen. I stared at him. "You've trained with Rengoku a few times yourself."
"Yeah but I could barely through one training." I replied.
"That's alright! Different styles are meant to suit different demon slayers!" She says. I nodded.
"Wait if both you and Rengoku are hashiras then what style do you use?" I asked and then froze. "Damn it I'm asking a lot of questions- I'm sorry."
"No no, it's fine! I use 'Love Breathing', its the best form to fit my strength and flexibility."
"I- can you train me?" I asked without thinking. I suddenly felt a chill go down my spine. I looked to the side and saw Giyuu just staring at me. "I'm joking."
"Yeah sure, Mitsuri I put the stuff you needed ready." He said. She smiled and ran into the kitchen after thanking him. He stayed his distance making me sigh.
"Giyuu I was actually joking, don't take it seriously." I reassured him.
"I know, it's just weird to hear you say you want to be taught by someone else. I understand that I'm not a great hashira, and I know I'm not the strongest so I understand if one day you actually decide to ask someone else to be your mentor."
"If I thought you weren't helping me in any way I would've already left. I'm not going anywhere." I said. He smiled softly and patted my head. I heard an awe from the kitchen and saw Mitsuri before she frantically retreated back into the kitchen. I ignored her and walked around again looking at the photos.
"Oh, she even had the chance to get one with Shinazugawa." I heard Giyuu day. I looked at the photo he was referring to.
"Where are his eyebrows-?"
"Why is that the first thing that you noticed-?" He looked at me extremely confused.
"It's hard to miss- I'm going over there, he's creeping me out." I walked away. I found myself staring at a huge patch of wall just covered with pictures of Mitsuri and this other guy. He had medium length black hair, yellow and turquoise eyes, and he was always wearing this type of mask. I saw that the pictures were usually labeled at the bottom about the events taking place. Some of those little messages were covered with little drawn hearts. "Obanai-?"
"Eh? What's wrong with Obanai Y/N?" I turned to see Mitsuri walking up.
"Nothings wrong. But is he something to you? You seem to do more when it comes to his pictures." When I said that her face went red as she pressed her hands on her face.
"I really like him! He's just so cool and amazing-" She started ranting about him.
"Mitsuri-" I interrupted. She froze looking at me. "Somethings burning."
"The food!" She yelled running back to the kitchen. I stood there, how many times was going to go back in there?
"Go sit down Y/N, I'll help Mitsuri." Giyuu said. I nodded and walked over to the table and kneed down at one of the pillows. A minute later Mitsuri and Giyuu walked out of the kitchen with the rice and miso soup. They set it down on the table and got their places too.
"That's it, let's eat!" Mitsuri yelled.
