The two finally made it to main street. There was quite a bit of hustle and bustle for a Thursday after noon. "Alright, the market should be up ahead and on the left. Please try not to get lost. The last thing we need is wild moss infesting this town." Sanji said, and Zoro growled at him. "It's not moss, shit cook!" This caused Sanji to whirl around with a deathly glare. "Wanna say that again!?" He snapped. By now, people were staring. Zoro didn't want to attract attention. "I'm sorry. That was out of hand." He apologized verbally, but the look in his eyes said otherwise. Sanji scoffed and walked away. "Shows over." Zoro told the people around them and went after his partner.

Finally, after having to go back and drag Zoro, the two made it to the market. "I told you not to get lost." Sanji huffed as he grabbed a basket. "The roads are complicated." Zoro took the basket away from Sanji and simply followed. "Bullshit! It's one road!" Sanji snapped and headed towards the baking section. "Be glad that someone is providing dinner for us else I would have let you starve." Sanji mumbled and examined different dry ingredients he would need. "We both know you wouldn't. You can never let someone starve. That's one of my favorite things about you." Zoro said somewhat sweetly. "Oi, don't go soft on me." Sanji chuckled with an equal softness. It was little moments like these that made both of them feel normal. Both have rough backgrounds, but that's one reason why they get along so well. "Alright. Eggs." Sanji mumbled to himself. He always had an internal grocery list. "Oi, do you want me to make onigiri tomorrow?" The blond asked, only to find the greenette wasn't there. "That bastard!" He said with an exasperated sigh.

Zoro had no idea where the hell he was. All he saw around him was bread. A shit ton of bread. "This would be Law's worst nightmare." He thought outloud and found a loaf that looked good. The expiration date wasn't until a few weeks. He put it in the basket and grabbed another. "There you are." Zoro looked up to see his fuming partner. Sanji saw the bread in the basket and scowled. "You don't like store bought bread." He stated and continued to glare at it. "No, I hate American store bought bread. It's all processed shit. This here is Scottish bread. Might be better, plus this is our first day here. I don't want you overwhelmed with cooking right from the get-go." Zoro explained, and now stood in front of the blond. "How very considerate. Now, can we pay and go?" Sanji held up a carton of eggs and a gallon of whole milk. Zoro nodded and gently took the eggs and set them at the bottom of the basket. With his free hand, he grabbed the milk.

"Will you please let me carry something?" Sanji pleaded as the two were walking home. "No. I've got it." Zoro growled and moved away from the blond as he tried to reach for a bag. "You are as stubborn as a mule!" Sanji cursed. "Good, that means I won't run us off a cliff." Zoro huffed as they made it to their front door. "Grab the keys." Zoro ordered. "Why don't you give me some groceries and get the keys yourself, Marimo!" Sanji snapped. Zoro gave in. He honestly did not like it when Sanji got like this. The only way to describe it, is a woman having a bad day who is also on her period. Every little thing irked him and he had a major attitude. Sanji snatched up the groceries that were offered to him and huffed in annoyance. "Why don't you let me bake so you can relax a bit, huh?" Zoro offered in a gentle tone as ge fished for the keys. "How will I know you won't mess them up! That will only stress me out even more!" Sanji exclaimed and walked in once the door was open. "So you are stressed. Care to tell me why?" Zoro entered and shut the door with his back. He then slipped his shoes off and walked to the kitchen. "We haven't heard anything from Law." Sanji sighed and braced his forearms on the counter. He rested his head in his hands and stared at the design in the countertop. Zoro sighed and grabbed the blond's hand, and gently pulled it towards him. "I know you aren't used to these slow operations, but bare with it. Law will call us when he has some good Intel. For the time being, please try to relax. I'm here if you need anything, you know this." Zoro's hands encased Sanji's smaller one. Sanji looked away with a smile. "You are so cheesy." He said, and Zoro smirked. "I can be much more." Sanji snorted and burst out laughing. Zoro joined in, and the atmosphere seemed to lighten up.

Sanji ended up still baking. He wanted to make a good first impression on their neighbors. Zoro, on the other hand, opted for a nap. He was sprawled out in front of the French doors on the floor. He looked like a cat basking in the sun. It seemed to make his tan skin glow. This made Sanji smile as he cracked open a window. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it. Taking slow drags, he enjoyed the piece and quiet.
