Sanji was standing in front of his bathroom mirror and trying to gain control over the knots in his blond hair. At this point, he had enough and just left the brush hanging in his hair. He still had to pick out an outfit, put on the corset, and put on makeup. "Oi, Marimo! Would you come here?" The blond called and rewrapped the towel around his waist. "Oh my god. What the hell did you do?" Zoro asked when he entered the bathroom. "Brushed my hair." Sanji said curtly. Zoro sighed and stood behind the smaller man. He eased the brush out of its prison of hair and started brushing the bottom of the beautiful blond locks. "Start at the bottom and work your way up. This way, you can get all the knots and not lose so much hair." The greenette explained as he gently ran the brush through his partner's hair. He slowly worked his way up and made sure to be careful when he encountered knots. He didn't want to pull Sanji's hair and hurt him. Once all of his hair was brushed, Zoro split it into three parts. He began braiding with skill. Once he finished, he held out his hand for a hair tie. Sanji opened a drawer and handed one to his partner. He was enjoying the gentle attention the other man was giving him. "There. Since your hair was still damp, it was a little easier. At the end of the day, when you take your hair out, it'll be all wavy." Zoro explained and rested his hands on his partner's shoulders. "Thank you." Sanji closed his eyes and sighed. He then came to his senses and whirled around to face the other man. "Out." He pointed at the door and demanded. Zoro chuckled and reluctantly left.
Zoro was dozing off on the couch when Sanji finally came downstairs. He was dressed in tight, black skinny jeans, and a navy blue t-shirt that was slightly oversized. "I would've thought you would have worn something a little more... interesting." Zoro commented with a hint of disappointment. "Hah? What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" Sanji demanded as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket. "Nothing. Let's just go." Zoro sighed and hoisted himself off of the couch. "Uh huh. Sure." Sanji mumbled and took a drag of his cigarette. "You just want to see me in a dress again, don't you." He blew a puff of smoke in his partner's face. To his dissatisfaction, Zoro didn't react. "Who knows." Zoro shrugged and slipped his shoes on. He then opened the door for the blond. Sanji scoffed as he exited the house. Zoro simply watched how his hips swayed to and fro while he walked. "Stop staring! It's creeping me out." Sanji snapped and huffed in annoyance. "Am I not allowed to admire my wife?" Zoro asked with a smirk. Sanji had no witty comeback this time. He simply turned and continued on his way. Zoro chuckled and followed closely.
Zoro ended up getting lost twice. Sanji couldn't get too irritated with him though. He knew that this was an unfamiliar place, and it was only their second day here. "One of these days, I'm going to have to handcuff you to me just so you don't get lost." The blond sighed when the duo finally entered the market. "Kinky." Was Zoro's reply. Sanji kicked his partner's shin, hard. "Okay okay! It was a joke. Jesus." Zoro hopped on one foot for a second and rubbed his injured shin. He didn't notice that Sanji was blushing all the way to the tip of his ears. "Dumbass Marimo." The blond said and quickly walked away. Zoro rolled his eyes and followed. "Do you want me to make Onigiri?" Sanji asked as he looked for Nori seaweed. "Yeah." Zoro absently replied. Hearing this, Sanji looked at his partner. The greenette was looking at something with a raised eyebrow.
Following his gaze, he realized there were three people in the aisle with them. Two of them were asleep and being carried by the third. The poor soul was a young blond man with a huge scar over his left eye. The man he carried on his back had raven hair and freckles. The one in the front had black hair and a straw hat hanging from his neck. "What the fuck?" Zoro mumbled under his breath. This caught the attention of the blond man. "Oh, do you need something from over here?" This startled the duo. "No, sorry we were just wondering what was going on." Sanji quickly explained. "Oh! My brother's fell asleep. Ace is narcoleptic, and Luffy accidently took some sleep pills." The blond man explained with a huge smile. Sanji gave Zoro a concerned look, but the greenette was chuckling. "You two must be new. My name is Sabo, nice to meet you." Sabo held out a hand for the two. "Sanji. This is my husband Zoro. By the way, how does everyone know that we are new?" Sanji shook the poor man's hand. "Everyone knows everyone here in some form or another." Sabo explained, and the raven on his back groaned a little. His eyes slowly opened, and he did not seem amused. "Ace! Get down and introduce yourself." Sabo ordered, and the other man complied. "Name's Ace. Nice to meet you." He seemed a little more awake. "Sanji." Sanji said and looked at Zoro. He was quiet. He always got that way when meeting new people. Well, not always. "Hey, would you two happen to be the couple that moved into the house next to Robin and Franky?" Ace asked, pulling Sanji out of his thoughts. "Yeah." Zoro replied with a skeptical look. "Sweet! We live right across the street from you guys." Ace seemed to light up. "Why don't you three come over for dinner then. So we can get to know our neighbors." Sanji offered and Zoro nodded. "Really?! Thanks!" Ace smiled and so did Sabo. "I must warn you, we all have huge appetites." Sabo told his fellow blond. "Well, good thing I'm a cook then." Sanji accepted the challenge with a smirk. "We best be going now. We have to get this one home and into bed." Ace smiled and gestured to the sleeping boy. "What time should we come over?" Sabo suddenly asked. "Six thirty should be fine with us." Zoro informed. The two nodded, and Ace took the sleeping boy from Sabo. "Nice people." Zoro said outloud. "Yeah." Sanji replied quietly and grabbed a bag of rice. "Start thinking of meals you want me to make." He told the greenette, and walked away.
