Angel's POV
Angel is standing at his locker talking to Carl about the upcoming game when he feels someone tap him on the shoulder. He turns and sees Grey standing there, a smile spreads on Angel's face.
"What are you doing here?"
"It's a school. What do you think I'm doing here? I have your shirt." He pulls the shirt out of his bag, shoving it in Angel's direction.
"Well, hello there, Grey." Carl looks at Grey with a smirk. What is he doing?
"Hello Carl, didn't see you there."
"Why not? I thought you liked me."
"Liked. It's past tense." What the actual fudge are they doing?
"Well, you can just like me again?" Carl leans in closer. Ok, now what the actual fuck are they doing?
"Oh, don't you wish. I'm too much for you to handle. Plus, you're annoying."
"Me annoying? Never." Angel looks between them, very confused about what is happening. Are they flirting? How can Grey flirt with Carl? Why is Carl flirting with Grey? Something in Angel gets mad, and he steps in between them.
"Okay, that's enough of whatever that is," he turns to Grey, "thank you for bringing my shirt. Come to the game. I'll look for you. But we got to get to class." Angel grabs Carl's arm, dragging him away. He pulls him into an empty hallway and looks at him.
"What was that for?" Angel stares at him, waiting for his answer.
"What do you mean?"
"You and Grey? Are you all dating?"
"What? No. Why would you think that? We were just talking."
"That was flirting."
"Okay, it was just for old times' sake."
"So you did date?"
"No. Will you calm down? If you don't stop, people are going to think you like him." Angel looks at him, shocked.
"Why would I like him?"
"I don't know." Carl throws his hands up. He starts to walk away but turns around, "if you don't want people to know you like him, you should calm down. And don't even say you don't like him. He literally had your shirt." Angel crashes against the wall, sliding down. After a few moments, he sees someone stand in front of him.
"Hello, Angel." Angel looks up to see Grey looking down at him.
"Oh, hey." Angel stands up.
"Are you okay?"
"Definitely, is there something you need?"
"I wasn't expecting to see you here."
"Just needed a minute."
"Okay."
"Did you ever decide to go to the game?"
"The jock orgy?"
"The what? Did you just call it a jock orgy?"
"Yeah. Got a problem with it?"
"No, it's just a weird thing to say."
"No, it's not. Whatever. I don't think I'm coming."
"Why not?"
"Because I hate our school."
"Fair point."
"Okay, well bye." Before Angel can say anything, Grey already has disappeared.
