Angel's POV
He is at Alec's house. Alec is on his bed crying. He called Angel because he couldn't call Grey. The breakup was hard. It shattered Alec and Angel feels as if his heart went through a garbage disposal. How could Grey treat his friends like that? Especially over some dick.
"I thought he would always be there for me but I guess I was wrong."
"Alec, don't let it get to you. Grey is going to do what he wants."
"I feel so bad for you Angel. You started to finally realize that you like him and he goes and gets with a douchebag. I promise I will help you find someone else. You deserve it." Alec gives Angel a hug. Angel hugs him back then pulls away.
"Alec, the messed up thing is, I don't want someone else. Even after everything."
"I'm sure you'll get past that. Once you see how happy Grey appears to be without you, you'll move on. I need to accept the same thing when it comes to my friendship with him."
"You're really going to give up your friendship? Just like that?"
"Angel, I don't know if it's worth fighting for anymore. I've been trying for weeks now, but it just seems like I'm the only one trying. He doesn't seem to care."
"Yeah but you both have been friends for a long time. Maybe you both just need to sit down and talk it out. There's still hope for you two to make up. If you still want to be friends you have to try. Get him to try."
"It's useless though. He has already been lost. There's no getting through to him. Hayden always causes him to just lose sight of everyone else. It's stupid to argue with someone as stubborn as Grey."
"You shouldn't give up. He still cares for you."
"No he doesn't. I think we need to get our mind off of him. We should go to a party. Have fun and move the fuck on."
"I don't know about that. It seems like a bad idea."
"All my ideas are good ideas. We should do it." Alec pulls out his phone and sends a text to someone. "Good thing for us there's a party tonight at Shawna's house. We should go."
"I have no idea who that is."
"That's fine. Neither do I but I have her address." Alec said as he turned his phone to show Angel the message. He grabs his arm and drags him to his car. They spend the ride listening to screaming music.
The house is overflowing with loud music and people when they get there. There are few people they do recognize. They quickly get out and Alec has to drag Angel inside. Angel just wants to go home.
Alec places Angel in a seat, "I'm going to go get us some drinks. Yours has to be alcoholic since I have to drive. One of us has to get wasted."
"No. No alcohol." Angel tries to tell Alec but he's already gone. He sits there watching the people around him stumble and fall. One of these people are going to get in so much trouble by the end of the night.
Angel looks up to see a bedroom door opening. Suddenly, two people come out holding hands. It only takes him a second to realize it's Grey with Hayden. Something in his stomach feels sick. He watches them take a seat on a couch in the corner of the room.
"Hey sexy," a guy with a leather jacket says as he comes up to Angel, taking a seat next to him.
"Um hi."
"What's a hot guy like you doing all by yourself?"
"I'm not by myself. I got a friend who is bringing me a drink."
