One More:

At least one more person survives the killing game. It is either Sakura, Chihiro or Celeste alongside Alter Ego.

There may have been no class trial this time, but the chapter is mainly about Makoto and Byakuya, and eventually the rest of the class, trying to prove Toko is Genocide Jack. And their theory was correct, learning about how she kills her victims, how she and Toko switch with fainting and sneezing and how they don't share memories because one mind falls asleep as the other takes control.

Mondo doesn't kill Chihiro and only throws the dumbbell at the wall in an act of trauma, which goes against the rules and angers Monokuma. Taka enters the room, hearing a crashing noise, and is in shock of what is bound to happen. Before dying, Mondo shares his secret with Chihiro and Taka and tells Chihiro he's stronger the he thinks, because sharing your deepest darkest secret with someone really takes guts. As Monokuma begins Mondo's execution, Chihiro attempts to intervene, but is too late to grab hold off the bike. Chihiro is left devastated and comforted by Taka, who is in pain as well, and he blames himself for getting Mondo killed.

Chihiro later reveals how he fixed the laptop and made Alter Ego in the bathhouse where it was hidden to uncover any secrets to help them escape, which leads to Taka going nuts and Hifumi's approach. Right after Taka dies, Chihiro is encouraged by the voice of Mondo in his head and gets the confidence to tell Makoto his secret and how it's hit fault Mondo died. But Makoto tells him it's no one's fault. The mastermind made them do it. He can tell the others if he ever wants to, which he eventually does. To his surprise and relief, no one judged him. However, Genocide Jack has eyes on him because her victims are cute boys. Sakura and Aoi decide to help him get stronger, and he starts to get over pretending no to be a guy. Though Alter Ego was destroyed, Chihiro had built enough confidence despite the situation and live on for Mondo and Taka. In return for her protection, Chihiro comforts Aoi over Sakura. After Kyoko saves Makoto, he tries to help Makoto solve the picture mystery, because he was the only one not fooled by it. Once escaping, Chihiro remains a helpful ally towards Makoto.

Sakura had in fact faked her death and was in hiding after discovering a way to the trash too and remained there for some time. She stays quiet, hoping her friends, and her crush, make it out. She makes a surprise return to help the others for the final case, which brings Aoi to tears of joy.

Celeste's little scheme didn't go as she had hoped. She didn't have enough time to kill Hifumi, and he ends up executed. Though she still acted defensive about the whole thing being her idea, she fails and is shunned by the others. But Makoto goes to see her and tells her not to let greed her in her way of living.

Not only did Alter Ego plant a virus to save Makoto, but he also loaded himself into another piece of technology. A leftover phone found in the trash shoot.

Depending on what scenario used, either Sakura, Chihiro or Celeste.

For the Ultimate Punishment, Junko puts herself into not just the already used executions, but every executions planned for the blackened, victims and survivors. All just as bizarre, unique and disturbing as each other. And thus, Makoto, Kyoko, Byakuya and the others graduate.

Ultimate Plot Twist:

All those who died are in fact alive and well, revealing themselves at the end of the final trial much to the remainders relieve and Junko's shock and frustration. And it was all because of a certain war hero. Mukuro knew her sister would betray her without remorse, despite the amount of love she had for her. She thought of a trick where she saves her friends to make it look like it was real but fake. Once they "die", they remain in an underground area, where she reveals the truth about the world and what Junko has done to them. They were all shocked a single high school girl managed to do all this. Mukuro had grown very close towards her friends, so she wasn't going to let her sister kill them for her own enjoyment. But that wasn't the whole story. On the inside, she secretly had feeling for Makoto. She was guilt ridden for helping her make an apocalypse, and Sayaka, being the first to "die", was with Mukuro long enough to see the regret and guilt in her eyes. She tries to comfort her saying what she is doing right now might give her the chance to redeem herself. During this time, Mukuro had some time to think. As she continued to save her classmates, she reminisces about when her sister, once known as Ryoko, changed into a tyrannical queen of doom. The sister she knew and loved has been long gone. Junko said so herself. Mukuro could remember her saying "Ryoko is dead. It is time to say hello to the new me. Junko Enoshima". It was at that moment she realised her sister has gone totally mad and there was no hope for her.

Because this was also broadcasted behind Junko's back, she had no idea there was no despair given off. None of them give up hope and they all stand tall alongside Makoto. On the inside though, Mukuro still feels guilt and regret being involved in this. But, right after witnessing Junko kill herself, Makoto comforts her and thanks her for saving his friends. With that, Mukuro, crying happy tears seeing she will not be shunned, is no longer on her sister's side after the betrayal and has been forgiven.

At the giant metal door, they have all settled down from the madness, carrying the memories that were taken but returned thanks to the Ultimate Solider. Aoi embraces Sakura, implying they will be together. Taka and Mondo stand close together, and Chihiro. Kyoko, Sayaka and Mukuro take a stare at Makoto, but them glare at each other, and Byakuya tells himself that love can be stupid. Together, they make their way into the outside world thus graduating, and join the Future Foundation as a squad of unstoppable friends joining together in the dangers they face.
