"Eddie, you didn't!" Jamie exclaimed, shocked.

"I didn't mean to. I just... I got so mad."

"You can't do those things to her."

"What things?"

"Call her names and grab her arm."

"Oh because that's so triggering," she said mockingly.

"To her, yes."

"What?"

"That's her story to tell. Do you know if she told Danny?"

"No, I don't ."

"She either did, or she was going to. And considering how he was friendly with you, my guess is no."

"What will happen if he finds out?"

"He'll give you a speech like the one he gave the family a week or so ago. With more cursing, no doubt. Trust me, Eddie, you do not want to be on Danny's bad side."

She grumbled, "how bad could it be?"

"He denied that Erin was ever his sister for a few months because of what she did to Linda."

Eddie cursed. She was in big trouble.

Jamie sighed, "I can't believe you did that, Eddie!"

"I said I was sorry!"

"To me. But not to Linda. She was trying to protect you, and warn you, and this is how you repay her? Grabbing her and calling her names?"

"I don't get it. Danny grabs her all the time, what's the big deal?"

"Danny grabs her hand, not her arm or her wrist. There's a difference."

"You're still not telling me."

He sighed, "I told you; that's her story to tell. Just don't ever treat her like that again."

Eddie rolled her eyes and muttered some curse words under her breath.

Linda had woken up to Jamie and Eddie, and was extremely disappointed. She was pretty sure she told them that, but she couldn't remember. Where was Danny? She thought he'd be waiting for her to wake up.

Danny came back and felt guilty that she had woken up when he wasn't there. He hadn't meant to fall asleep at home, but better at home than behind the wheel. "Hey," he kissed her head and sat next to her.

She barely registered Jamie saying goodbye then leaving with Eddie. She was too focused on Danny. "Hi."

"You feeling any better?" He brushed her now brown hair away from her face.

"Better now that you're here."

"Aw," he kissed her again.

"Are you staying?"

"Yup. I got my pajamas on so I can be your bed companion."

Linda smiled, "good."

"So, uh... do you know what happened? What made you freak out like that? Did you remember something?"

"Kind of?"

"Really?" Danny cursed himself for sounding hopeful.

"I had a flashback. To when Salazar and his men kidnapped me." She shook her head, "that usually only happens on the anniversary of it. Not during the rest of the year."

"I'm sorry—"

"But it's okay now, 'cause you're here and you can make it all better," she grabbed his hand.
