CHAPTER 18

While MingQuix and Mira helped me up and we  finally went out.

Time skip 5 years later.

Jasmine POV

It's been almost 5 years since everything happened.

I can't believe that time flies so fast it just seems like yesterday since everything happened.

After we escaped the Wang residence Jason and Lia completely disappeared after the fire.

We all suspect he took her body with him. But GD refuses to say anything about it.

I still feel guilty about her death.

After we fled China we went to Korea.

It was only MingQuix, Mira and I. GD provided a hiding place for us and a job in one of his many clubs.

MingQuix and Mira helped me throughout my entire pregnancy. It was one of the most hardest parts of my life because I was battling depression at that time.

I actually didn't want the baby but after I had her in my arms I completely changed my mind. I immediately felt complete like I had a purpose in life.

I tried to do better for her and to work hard for her. So I started training with GD, MingQuix and Mira. I build my confidence up and started earning money for my daughter.

My rank went up in the club and I became to most requested stripper of the club. Even though I don't really enjoy it I'm doing it for my little girl.

After MingQuix helped me get back on my feet she decided to live her own life. She still visits often from now and then.

Mira works in a different field but she never really told me what she exactly does.

But I geuss it got something to do with mafia group GD works for.

About GD he made sure that my daughter got an education. He spoils her so much that he gets mistaken as her father by strangers.

I was so lost in my thoughts until my daughter shook my arms to get me out of my thoughts.

Happy birthday mommy she said with a big smile.

I gave her a smile

Thank you baby I said while giving her a kiss.

I got you a present she said uncle Jiyoung helped me.

She was one of the only ones who could call GD by his real name.

Oh really I said. My curiosity getting the best of me.

You have to close your eyes first she said excited. No peeking mommy

I put my hands in front of my eyes. I could hear her grabbing something and placing it in front of me.

You can open your eyes mommy.

As I opened my eyes I saw a small box and a rolled up paper in front of me.

I quickly opened the box and saw a necklace in it with mine and my daughter's initials engraved.

I let out a gasp.

It's beautiful.

She let out a giggle. You have to open that mommy.

She said pointing at the rolled up paper.

As I opened it I saw a drawing of five people.

That's aunty MingQuix she said while pointing at the drawing. And that is aunty Mira and that is uncle Jiyoung.
