I did not plan this end, nevertheless I do agree that the ocean was an admirably poetic way to enter.

It brings life rather full circle, does it not? Water leaves the lungs at birth; water enters back in at death.

Hongjoong, it must be said, was certainly one of the better ones I've had the pleasure of escorting. He had no strange notions on the nature of death, so I needed not fight him to leave; he reached easily for my hand.

Punctual as always, his Angel Guardian was waiting for us at the edge of the Veil. He stepped off my boat, and into her welcoming arms.

I must say, however, how horribly sad I was to leave him. Humans so rarely make trades of this sort of late, so Hongjoong was the first in such a long while whose life I witnessed from childhood to death.

It's a shame I had to make him - for the most part - forgotten, but alas, this was his request.

It's strange to think I will be back to collect his brother soon.

Anyway.

Of course, there is much work to be done in the way of death; I will return to Earth quite soon.

Best regards,

Seonghwa
