Welcome to my Christmas special! I figured it would be fitting to have Human AU be the Christmas special because they are children. If you want me to make a New Years special with my regular AU, let me know.
Also this takes place before Ruby is introduced.
Enjoy this (hopefully not too terribly written) disaster!
Lunar was decorating the play structure with Christmas lights. Sun was helping him, his angel wings flapping as he connected the lights together.
"This is looking beautiful," Sun remarks. Lunar nods and looks at Moon, who was hanging wreaths around the Daycare.
"Moon, can you go choose some music while we're working?" He asks. Moon blinks and looks at his older brother.
"Does it have to be Christmas music?" Moon asks. When Lunar shakes his head, Moon teleports away. Sun looks at Lunar, confused.
"Why doesn't Moony like Christmas music?" They ask. Lunar sighs slightly.
"He says that it's too repetitive," Lunar says. Sun thinks before shrugging.
"I can see where he is coming from but I still love Christmas music," Sun says. Lunar kisses his forehead.
"That's fine, little brother. Say, why don't you go make us some hot chocolate. We're almost done with the lights and I would enjoy some hot cocoa." Lunar says. Sun nods and flies in the direction of the kitchen.
Lunar connects the last of the lights together and flies down from the play structure. Eclipse flies down from his bedroom and hugs him. "It looks great, Lunar."
"Thanks Eclipse!" Lunar smiles, hugging back. He could hear "Like It's Christmas" by the Jonas Brothers playing and smiles in approval at Moon's choice. Moon had once told them that the song remind him of the four of them because the four of them were gifts to each other. Which was sweet because Moon didn't say that often. Whether Moon remembered why was a toss up but Lunar had hope for his younger brother.
"I have a surprise for everyone," Eclipse says suddenly. Lunar's eyebrows raise in surprise as he observes his older brother face.
"...How did you get money this time?" He asks. Eclipse blinks slightly.
"Monty and I worked together and bought it. I have to pay him back but I don't care about that at the moment," Eclipse says. Lunar nods slightly.
"Should I go get Sun and Moon?" Lunar asks. Eclipse thinks about it for a moment before shrugging.
"I'll go get Sun. You can go get Moon," he says. Lunar nods in agreement and flies over to where Moon was hanging the final wreath up.
"Moony," Lunar calls to his little brother. Moon hums and looks at him.
"Hey Lunar," Moon greets, flying over to his brother. Lunar smiles and hugs Moon, and his brother hugs back.
"You did good, Moony. Come on, Eclipse has a surprise for us," Lunar says. Moon hums and uses the Star to teleport to the bedroom that the two brothers shared. Lunar climbs through the tunnel and into Sun and Eclipse's room. Moon climbs through as Eclipse and Sun landed on the balcony. Both held two cups of hot chocolate and placed all four on the table in their room.
"So, Eclipse, what is your surprise?" Moon asks. Eclipse smiles and pulls four costumes out, a white nightgown, a green robe, a black robe, and a black suit. Sun gasps in delight at the sight of the costumes.
"Are these Scrooge and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future from the Christmas Carol?" He asks. Eclipse nods, smiling. Sun squeals and grabs the white nightgown, which was the Ghost of Christmas Past costume. He runs into his concealed bedroom and Lunar blinks.
"I'll take the Ghost of Christmas Present costume," he says. Eclipse hands him the robe, giving him a concerned look.
"Is the robe okay with you?" He asks and Lunar realized why he was asking. Being female to male transgender made him feel hatred towards himself when he wore more feminine-esc clothing.
"Yeah, it's fine. Don't worry about me," Lunar says. Moon hums and grabs the black robe before he teleports into his room. Lunar hugs Eclipse before he climbs back into his room. Moon was most likely invisible because the Star was hovering around Moon's bed. Lunar turns around and prepares to put the costume on.
Lunar places the wreath on the top of his head and smiles at his reflection. The green robe looked really good on him. Lunar climbs through the tunnel and looks at his brothers. Eclipse wore the Scrooge costume, Sun was in the Ghost of Christmas Past costume, and Moon wore the Ghost of Christmas Future costume. Lunar smiles slightly.
"You guys look great," Lunar says. Sun runs over and hugs his big brother tightly.
"You look great too, Lunar!" He says. Moons flies over and hovers next to them.
"We need to get some pictures," the youngest brother suggests. Eclipse nods in agreement.
"Let's do it. Merry Christmas you three."
"Merry Christmas brothers!" Sun cheers.
"Merry Christmas," Moon says, hugging Lunar. Lunar smiles at them all.
"Merry Christmas Eclipse, Sun, and Moon." He says.
"Merry Christmas to everyone in the world." The four say together.
