Wanda's POV

I leave Doc's side, I need to find Ian, Melanie, Jared, Jamie, Logan and Jeb.
"Where are you going? Jeb told us to stay here and stay down," Doc says.
"I need to find them," I say.
"Jeb is looking."

"That's not enough for me," I snap.
"I can't let you go, they won't let you," he says, giving me a look.
I mostly want to find Melanie and Ian, since I care about them the most.
"I have to try," I say.
I walk to the door, but a boy Ian's age pushes me and I fall.

"No one is allowed out there for a while, especially not you Soul," he says.
"My name is Wanda, not Soul," I say.
"I don't care."
He kicks my ribs, and punches my jaw, I scream in pain. Doc rushes to my side and all eyes are on the three of us.

"Don't do that," Doc says.
"You don't get to tell me what to do, Doc," the boy snaps.
"But I do," a voice says behind me.
It's Jeb. With Ian, Melanie, Jared, Jamie and Logan. Ian glares at the boy, which seems to scare him.

"Leave her alone," Logan says.
"Shut up, Logan. You lost my love for you after you got a Soul in you," he says.
"You know him?" I ask.
"He's my older brother," Logan says.
Jeb tries to help me up, but he grabs my hand with the bullet in it. I yelp.

"I'm sorry, Wanda. I forgot, Doc can you take care of her," he says.
The Doc puts my hand on the floor and pulls out a knife. I pull my hand back.
"A knife? Won't that hurt? I'll be screaming in so much pain," I say.
"We have to knock you out," Doc says.
"How?" I ask.

Then everything goes black.

* * *

I wake up on a bed with a soar head and hand, I'm in the hospital we have here. But it's just me in here, but how did I get here? I sit up and get off the bed.
"Doc?" I call.
No answer.
But I hear quiet voices, the voices are coming from a room.

The door is fully closed, so I place my ear to the door to hear what they're talking about. It's me.
"She's been in a coma for a week, maybe knocking her out with a giant rock wasn't a good idea," Doc states.
"What if she doesn't wake up?" Jamie asks. "We unplug her."

"No!" Ian and Melanie shout.
"Doc is right, she's as good as dead," an unfamiliar male voice says.
"Give her a few days," Ian says.
Doc sighs. "Two days."
