Annabeth POV

inside the Athena cabin, things got hectic. there was practically a civil war! Malcolm and some of my other siblings thought that since we don't have as many campers in our cabin( sadly, from the war), that we should get rid of 2 bunk beds and use the extra space for new battle strategies and other plans. the other campers, though, said that more Athena kids would show up to camp and throwing away bunk beds means that not everyone will have a bed. everytime someone asked for my opinion, since i was head counselor, i would pretend i was busy with something else.

"There won't be enough beds!" cried a voice. not bothering to see who it is, i head out of the cabin. Chiron is calling all the heads to the Big House for a meeting. which  usually means the Stoll brothers will be pulling a prank, Katie Gardener usually the one being pranked, Clarisse picking a fight with whoever, and of course, there was Percy. Sure, he can act all stupid and annoy me, but at most times, he makes my toes curl. After leaving the loud cabin, i spot Percy down by the lake.

"Seaweed Brain!" i shout out. As i walk closer, Percy turns around. he looked as if he were daydreaming.

"Chiron wants to see us at the Big House" i told him. When he got up, he smiled and grabbed my hand. 

"What do you think is going to happen?" Percy asked me as we walked to the Big House. for the first time in my life, i had no clue what to expect. Maybe a new prophecy? More demigod searches?

"I... I don't know," as i say that, i knew that Percy could detect a bit of worry and nervousness in my voice.

"Chill out, Wise girl" Percy joked. 

"C'mon, lets go inside." we walked up the stairs and into the Big House. When i walked in, i was shocked. 

"I thought this was a counselor meeting, why isn't everyone here?" Quizzically, i study everyon in the rec. room. there were the Stoll Brothers, Katie, Piper, Leo, Clarisse, Nico... and Jason?  

"Oh hey Jason! i thought you went back to camp Jupiter!" I exclaimed. Jason grinned at me.

"Well, i was at Camp Jupiter, but i decided we should all stick together, you know?" Jason exclaimed. I knew why Jason was here. One word, Piper. Obviously Jason wanted to be closer to Piper. i wonder why Hazel and Frank didn't stay... Hazel probably felt weird around Leo.

"Ahem, everyone please sit down." Chiron told us.

"I have a very important announcement" Chiron continued.

"Finally, after the Giant war, the world is at peace" Many cheers rumbled through the campers.

"Because of your hardwork fighting in the war, the gods have decided to reward you 10. For your reward, you get to experience a normal life. " when Chiron said that, many confused whispers echoed in the rec. room.

"You all shall attend high school, at Goode HIgh school."

"What?! thats not a reward, thats TORTURE!" Screamed the Stoll Brothers.

"Calm down everyone," Chiron said.

"You will live in an apartment big enough for all 10 of you. It will be magically protected so no monsters can reach you. Ditto for your school. now off you go! pack your things! Argus will drive you to there after lunch."

as people filed out of the room, i didn't understand why everyone was so upset. school was awesome! i couldn't wait.
