sage wrapped her coat around ronnie who was freezing as the both watched the match from the family stand. phil had invited her because he wanted to and if he scores, he's definitely going to do a celebration for her.
the match started and sage quickly put her glasses on as she forgot to wear her contacts. growing up, sage never wore glasses or even knew she needed them because her parents never cared for her as a child. when she met talia, most of her time was spent at the foden household and she still does now, she practically lives there.
but sage's little daydream was cut short when the whole of etihad erupted with cheers.
phil had scored.
sage stared at him and it's like he could feel her staring because before he went back to his position, he did an 'S' followed by a heart which he instantly pointed towards the stands. sage thought it was for someone so she didn't really care that much but she felt saddened with the fact it could of been for someone else.
the remainder of the match went in city's way other than JOHN STONES scoring an own goal which no-one hates him for as it was an easy mistake. just before the match had ended, sage and ronnie both left a little bit earlier to miss the traffic as it can get pretty mad.
"oh ronnie, your adorable." sage whispered to herself as she buckled him into the car seat being very careful not to wake him up.
it had a been a couple of hours and sage was now lay on talia's bed, waiting for phil to get home so she can then head home. she heard the front door open and then slam shut which made her very confused to why as phil has nothing to be angry about.
"phil?" sage said just as phil walks in, he lay next next to her and just kissed her.
and it lead to something that sage definitely wasn't expecting.
