it happened again.

sage lost the baby.

she felt useless, unable to do anything other than cry. she is yet to tell phil as she doesn't want to hurt him and after he did that post, she just wants to delete all social media until she's okay.

"mummy, do you want a cuddle?" ronnie said, poking sage who looked at him and just nodded.

"ronnie, i'm so sorry baby. your little brother or sister has left us to go to heaven, i'm really sorry buddy." sage sobbed as ronnie looked up at her, placing his little hands on her face.

"that's okay mummy! the baby will be happier up there right?" ronnie said and sage nodded.

sage couldn't comprehend how smart ronnie is for just three years old. she just rubbed her hand up and down his back as he played with her hair.

"daddy's home!" ronnie said excitedly as he wriggled off sage and ran behind the door to scare phil.

"babe? are you-" phil got cut off by ronnie jumping out and scaring him.

"ahhhh you scared me you little monster!" phil said, picking up ronnie and tickling him, ronnie's giggles filled the room but phil noticed that sage is awfully quiet.

"right ron, i'll come and play with you in a second, i need to have a private conversation with mummy." phil said, placing ronnie on the ground and then walking towards sage.

"what happened?" phil said and in that moment sage just broke down.

"i'm so sorry phil, it happened again." phil knew what sage is talking about.

he didn't know what to do other than just hold her. he felt so bad about everything that's happened to her but he knows that they will get their rainbow baby, no matter how long it takes.

"sage, it's okay, i've got you." phil said and sage just kept hugging him.

she doesn't know how long it will take for her to ever be okay after this.
