My mother and father had heard the argument and scolded me almost immediately. They both death stared at Noel as she left a few minutes after Victoria left and right after that my parents scolded me. They hadn't heard what the argument was about but heard our harsh voices and saw how Vicki left.

It was now dinner and they hadn't said a single word that wasn't about the fight, "Matthew! You have known Victoria for your toute la vie!" My father yells. "You must apologise!".

(translation: Your whole life)

"I know papa, I'll apologise I promise..." I respond.

"You better, Matthew, I'm not joking" My mother warns, loading more mac & cheese that my father had made onto her plate.

The table is silent until I speak up, "So..." I mumble, picking at my food, "What do I do? I mean, we have fought before but not like this..."

"I don't know, Matt" My mother exhales, "You need to do this on your own and find a way to resolve it yourself... what exactly happened?" She asks, making me pause, I mix my bowl of food around and think to myself. I can't exactly tell them that Victoria and her man were fucking around and we did a pregnancy test roulette which she thought she was pregnant but it was her cousin who told me not to say anything. "Hello? Earth to Matthew?" My mother snaps at me.

I looked up at her and placed my fork down, crossing my arms, "Sorry... I had a long day and I'm exhausted... but uhm- What happened was Victoria and her boyfriend have been spending a lot of time together and...-"

My mum gasps, "Victoria has a boyfriend?! Why hasn't she told me yet? What's his name?" She excitedly asks, completely forgetting about her question. My dad nodded in agreement, wondering about him too.

"Well, I don't know much about him," I lied but continued the conversation to stop the question before coming up again, "But I think his name starts with 'R', I'm not too sure though you should ask her." They nod in agreement.

"Well if you are not going to eat your food go and make up with her" My dad shooed me, I nodded and stood. Thank god my mother had forgotten about her question. I went out the front door and started my car, driving around while I brainstormed what I should do for her.

I know Vicki like the back of my hand, she likes gifts - unless it's Mr. Maddens she's such a sucker for him but I don't blame her I would be obsessed with him too if I was her. Anyway though, she randomly wants things and the last thing she wanted was a child so... a baby doll it is. No, I'm joking, she would probably hit me with his fancy ass car and I don't think my hair and blood in his black hood would not be a good touch... I mean, unless it's Halloween but you know.

The stores would be closing soon so best hurry up. Victoria wanted to get a tattoo done with me but I'm not too sure after today - I'll keep that in mind though. I never meant to hurt Victoria, it's just that Noel told me these words exactly; "If you tell Victoria, not only would we hurt her and her boyfriend but you would hurt and betray my trust too" I didn't want to hurt multiple people at once. Thinking back at it, Noel was just manipulating me. Blackmailing is not hot, Vic is the better cousin 100%.

I drove to the plaza blasting her playlists just to get into her vibe... Just kidding, we listen to the same music. I think I'm gonna get her these expensive lollies from a lolly shop that's like a family and all the lollies are made homemade, I think that's why it's so expensive but Victoria likes these lollipops that are red and in the shape of a heart. She likes them because they're cherry flavoured and 'cause of how pretty they are but anyway.
