Te Mata - Kali Uchis

First-person perspective

- Victoria Lawson -

Rob gave in and gave me something to drink, now I was drunk and flirty - lying over his lap and rambling, he was a little tipsy. The bottle was now on the coffee table, we were constantly getting glasses.

My back was arched over his lap, I had my hands above my head and his hands ran down my front. I looked up at him - constantly talking but he didn't seem annoyed or unfocused, he looked like he was paying complete attention to me, "... you know what crazy? when I was born you were like... six and when I was thirteen you were 19" I yap.

He ran his fingers on my sides, a small upside-down smile forming on his lips, "Yeah, that's crazy - and a little weird." He admits and adds, "Illegal."

I laugh a little, he leans over me and grabs his glass of whatever we were drinking now. "Hm... what's the most embarrassing thing you've done?" I ask, a strange question but I just wanted to talk.

He pressed his lips together, "I don't know" He shrugged, sipping from his glass.

I furrow my brow, sitting up and turning onto my knees beside him. His eyes follow me, "There has to be something, I'll tell you mine so like two or three years ago, me and Matt were skipping and we were walking through the library... I think, and I tripped over like a pencil and fell... That's how I got this" I move my hair a little to the side and show him a scar on my hairline.

He looks then meets gaze with me again, "That's not embarrassing".

"Yes, it is!" I reply, "'cause like, everyone started asking if I was okay but like clearly I wasn't I had a concussion and left that situation with fucking clinical depression." He laughed at me and I shook my head. "No." I lean onto him with my hands on his thigh, still shaking my head, "Don't laugh." I move up into a straddle on his lap.

He tries to keep a straight face but chuckles a little, which I glare into his eyes and he places the glass back down - putting his hand on my chin and his thumb on the corner of my lip as he kisses me.

Both of our mouths tasted like alcohol, Roberts's hands both fall down slid up my thighs, one stopping at my hip while the other continued to run up my back which made chills run up my spine. His lips trail down my neck and onto my collarbone then back up. He whispers in my ear, "You're so pretty..."

I flutter and smile softly, "You tell me that all the time".

"Mhm, because it's true..." His lips moving up the front of my throat and the tip of his nose grazing my skin, he stops at my lips. His lips softly pressed to mine again, "You're the most beautiful girl I have ever seen".

He grins as I fluster and I have nothing to say, well, I do but I can't speak. He leans back against the couch again, his hands sliding down on my thighs again. Rob looks up at me, his hands running up my sides again. "What happened to all that talking?" He asks teasingly, his hands pulling up my shirt as they move.

A cold breeze begins to brush against my stomach and back, "I'm still talking-..." I mumble and he hums, leaning down as well as leaning me back. My hands slide onto the back of his neck while his lips begin to trail just under my chest.

Rob looks up at me as I immediately fluster even more with butterflies forming in my stomach and I begin to feel sensitive, his lips smile against my skin - his tongue gently sliding against my skin before I feel a little suction on my skin.
