"Babe, we still have shows in the next few weeks. What the hell are we going to do?" Neil asked as he looked over at Bryanna, who shrugged. The band sat in their living room.
"Where's Matt?" Bry asked Brad, who looked up from Joshua sitting in his lap.
"In rehab."
"We might just have to cancel." Barry spoke, "Make it all up when Matt's out of rehab."
Bryanna thought for a minute. She looked up at the band.
"I'll do it." She spoke. "I'll sing. It's the closest thing to my dad."
"Bry, you're eight months pregnant. You're about to go into labor." Brad spoke up, looking at the woman.
"You're going to perform that pregnant?" Barry asked.
"Are you sure, babe?" Neil spoke up.
"It's me or nothing." She nodded and licked her lips. "Let's get to practicing then."
"We'll have to find a baby sitter for the kids." Neil cleared his throat and moved his drum bad closer.
"My parents," Bry spoke. "What's the set list?"
Brad reached over and passed Bryanna a cop of their set list.
She looked it over and nodded, "Not bad." She spoke as she read it.
Chalk Outline, Just Like You, Pain, The High Road, Home, Get Out Alive, Break, The Good Life followed by Neil's Drum Solo, Misery Loves My Company, World So Cold, I Hate Everything About You, Break Stuff (Limp Bizkit cover), Animal I Have Become and the Encore: Never Too Late and Riot.
Bryanna spoke, "How about we do World So Cold and Never too Late accoustic? And instead of the limp bizkit cover we do maybe shinedown or Evanescence? That would be easier for me to sing."
"Whatever you want, babe." Neil spoke with a smile.
"Evanescence sounds good," Brad spoke, "What song?"
"You know, I sing Call Me When You're Sober best." She cleared her throat.
"Sounds good," Barry spoke.
"Okay okay, let's practice!" She grinned as she started for get excited.
