The car ride was loud. Sage, in the back seat crying, causing Elle and Joshua to scream. Dakota started crying as well, sobbing that her ears were hurting. Bryanna sat in the front seat, gripping at the steering wheel of the large SUV.

Her head was starting to pound. "Sage, honey. You need to calm down." She said as softly as she could, resting a hand on her bump as she stopped at the stop sign. Her phone started to ring through the car and she sighed, "Papa's calling! We need to be quiet so mama can hear." She said quickly and tapped on the accept button on the screen, taking a deep breath.

"Hey dad." She spoke quickly and accelerated, continuing to drive down the narrow street. As Elle and Dakota started to calm down, she smiled slightly. "Sorry, Sage had a bad day at school and she's crying, so all the kids started crying."

"Hey, dear." Adam greeted, "Sorry that I called at a bad time."

"It's alright," Bryanna responded and sighed, "I'm just getting overwhelmed right now. But.. what's up?" She asked quickly and put her blinker on to turn right. She slowed down at the stop sign and looked over her shoulder at the now quiet kids. Then she looked into her mirrors before turning.

"I was just wondering if we were still having that family dinner next Sunday." Adam spoke slowly. "I learned how to cook a few more dishes!" The time of his voice change and Bryanna could almost hear the smile in his voice.

"Oh.. god. You've been in the kitchen?" Bryanna teased and smiled, then looked over her shoulder at the kids. She heard Sage faintly crying, in the back and frowned. "I'm kidding, yeah, of course we'll be there! Neil has it off like always."

"Perfect. Well, should I let you go?" Adam asked.

"Uhm, yeah, since we're almost home, but I'm gonna take you off the car speaker and let the kids talk to you first. They miss you so much." Bryanna said and once she heard an okay, she took the call off of the car speaker and passed her phone back to Elle, who was sitting in the middle, next to Joshua.

"Hi, papa!" Elle cheered happily, chatting away for a few minutes before she passed the phone to Joshua after bidding her goodbyes.

"Paw-paw," Joshua giggled and smiled, "Yeah. Played cars today with Lacey! Had lot of fun."

Bryana smiled and turned left onto their street, then watched Joshua through the rear view mirror.

"Me luv you too, paw paw. Bye."

As Joshua passed the phone back to Elle, he watched as Elle gave it to Dakota, who was in the back. Within a few minutes, the phone was hung up and Bryanna pulled into the driveway.

"Okay, take your shoes off at the door girls. Mommy has to get groceries and bring them in with Joshua. Make sure you hang up your bags too, okay? And then we'll get you all ready for naps." Bryanna said softly and watched as the girls unbuckled themselves, nodded and got out of the car. Bryanna sighed softly and popped the trunk after unbuckling. She took her purse and her keys, then walked around the car. "Can you help mommy put groceries away before your nap, mister?"

Joshua nodded and lifted his arms up once he was unbuckled. Bryanna smiles and helped him out of the car, then took his hand and walked with him to the trunk of the car.

"Take these." She said softly and handed him two light bags, then smiled as he took them and walked up towards the driveway. She took the rest of the bags out and walked them up the driveway, setting them down for the girls to come back out and get.

As she took the last few bags, she closed and locked the car, picked up some more bags as she walked by and brought them into the kitchen.

Sage and Elle raced out of the house, trying to grab the rest of the bags and bring them in before the other. Bryanna smiles and helped Dakota and Josh put away the rest of the food away, then heard the door close as Elle and Sage came back in.
