Bryanna had brought the kids to visit her parents after school on a Wednesday. Figuring it was going to blow over, she asked Neil to come as well after work.

When he had arrived, him and Adam stared at each other before starting to bicker.

Bryanna looked at the two men in front of her. "Are we done now?" She asked, speaking up for the first time in a few minutes.

Her father and Neil had been quiet for nearly ten minutes.

Neil was cradling his head in his hands, while sitting on the outside sofa, visibly tense and stressed.

Adam, was glancing out into the dark, sitting on the railing with his knees pulled to his chest.

"Yeah, fuck it." Neil cleared his throat. He looked up and ran a hand through his blonde hair, "I don't give a shit anymore. Bry, we're leaving."

Bryanna huffed and shook her head, "You both need to cut the shit." She started, "I don't care anymore, that my father left the band. HE is my father. Neil... you are my fiancé." She cleared her throat, "I AM NOT," she stressed, "picking sides. You both need to get along!" With that, she walked inside slamming the porch door behind her.

"Mom?" She called out, tears welling up in her eyes.

"In the living room, honey!" Jeanie called.

Bryanna walked into the living room, observing the scene in front of her. Sage was holding and rocking Joshua while he slept, while Elle and Juniper were curled up in a pillow fort they had made. She only assumed her mother had helped them.

Bryanna rolled her eyes as the screaming started agains from outside.

"Can you try to get through to them?" She asked, knowing that she had already meant Jeanie and Adam.

"On it." Jeanie spoke and stood up, heading towards the door.

"HEY."

Bryanna nearly laughed as her mother yelled over them as the door opened.

"Cut the shit!" Jeanie spoke, "You guys are almost as old as hell and acting like my goddamn grandchildren." She snapped, "Either fight it out or suck it the hell up and tolerate each other. And that means apologize!"

Suddenly, it went quiet.
